Wanted to protect the 5th wheel RV while towing. The Gatorback mudflaps (while looking great) were just too expensive to buy and have installed. Searched other tow flaps that mounted to the hitch, but didn't like the look or movement. The Rockstar flap was easy to install (even for me). All told less than 30 minutes. They look great and function very well. Considerably less debris on the trailer front. The flap comes off quickly for storage when not needed. Highly recommend!

I love that this is a full width guard. It is a simple design that does exactly what you need it to do. We will see if it holds up over the years. Overall I am happy with my purchase. (On my GMC, I had to search around my toolbox for a T30 torx bit to get the mounts attached. It might be different on other trucks. But good to know ahead of time to have correct tools. ) It is more expensive than some other guards out there, but the selling point for me on this one was that it is lighter weight and I dont have to mess with it being attached to the hitch. I paid a little over $300. 00 for mine. It could definitely have a lower price. If you are a welder/fabricator, this design could definitely be an easy one to make at home.

Lots of Internet searching turned up only this RockStar Full Width Tow Flap as offering both unobtrusive installation as well as full-width coverage. Most other options either didn't cover the width or they were supported outside of the perimeter of the truck body. After installation I can confirm that the flap is very solid and installs relatively easily -- my only complaint is that the printed instructions were a bit unclear and skimpy (i.e. no good parts list and unfocussed photos/sketches). Another example is that a page was devoted to how to make the flap adjustable, but no info was provided as to why that step was needed. I relied on an online video to fill in the gaps, few as they were. A bit more effort on the directions might be in order.

If you have a new 2020 or 2021 GMC or Chevy HD truck and need a full width mud flap this is the answer. It mounts under the bumper using existing factory bolts, so no drilling. By mounting under the bumper it does not interfere with rear cameras and sensors. Also if you have the new tailgate with a step you can lower it down for use. If you go with a receiver mount mud flap you can't lower the tailgate step. I might add Rockstar has excellent customer service. I give it 4 stars because the exhaust cutout didn't align completely with my exhaust pipe. Minor issue I just had to use a jigsaw and modify it. Issue could be GM has moved pipe location. Overall very satisfied!

Had to cut metal are make it fit on my 2025 Ram.

I have a Silverado 3500 with the Duramax and I ordered the product specific for my truck. Looked real simple to install, until I tried it and the cutout for the exhaust was 3" off. So i ended up having to cut a bigger area out and now have a 4" opening right behind my tire. Im going to patch something in there to block it, but very frustrating to have to do that.

Called product specialist prior to order to confirm I was getting the right one. Does not fit. Not even close. Set up a return online, but have not heard anything yet. Very disappointing!
