[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best paint on the market. I will never again use anything but Valspar Paint and Primer. Easy to use one coat coverage. Seriously, one coat coverage. The finished product is easy to clean and care for.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a teacher and was just now able to paint my laundry room with this new paint since it is now summer break. I was very excited that the paint had primer mixed in and it really did only take one coat. The blue color is gorgeous. I love my updated laundry room…although it is small and not the most functional, this update makes me very happy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I repainted my guest bathroom, which was poorly/quickly painted by the previous owners prior to the sell of the home. The accolade paint went on very smooth and didn't need multiple coats. This is a combo paint and primer which eliminate an extra step and appears to have worked well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My walls were originally painted with a Valspar paint years ago. We had a leak from the ac unit and one wall and part of ceiling needed to be repaired. The original color was a dark grey/blue color. This Valspar Accolade Interior paint and primer covered the walls very well with one coat. However, I could still see some original paint here and there peeking through, so I chose to do two coats. The walls look so good. The color I chose was Sherwin Williams Gentle Shadow. The room is so much brighter and fresh looking now. I used a roller for the walls and a 2” wall and trim brush for the edges. The paint smell wasn't strong either.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paint is amazing how well it covers. The paint has wonderful coverage and it's nice to not have to prime the walls first. It is very smooth and easy to use just in case you are not a professional like myself. I would suggest anyone try this paint it makes your project so much easier.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to paint and, having purchased a 1930s home, I have LOTS of painting to do. I have been very loyal to two competing paint brands for a while due to the excellent coverage of their “premium” paint and primer in one. I painted a bedroom with the Accolade paint. I did not prime beforehand…just prepped. The bedroom was a faint blue color and I was painting over in a white shade. The paint went on very easy, covered well with just the first coat, and provided a good finish. I am super impressed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Ultra White in this paint. I love it. I painted the trim in my living room and dining room. I love that this has the primer in the paint. Works great for covering and stain on your walls without having to primer first. This paint drys very quickly normally within one hour. I love the satin finish with this paint. This paint goes on very easy and with a good valspar brush does not streak. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to do some painting in their home this spring/summer. This is by far the best paint I have ever used.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Valspar Accolade Interior Paint and Primer and it is fantastic. It goes on super smooth and covers really well. I am covering an old pink paint, and it is covering in one coat. I definitely recommend this one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not nor.ally use paint and primer together. However this time I did and I'm not sure there is any going back after this. I used this paint to cover up walls that were pink and purple mixed together. So yes as you can imagine a hard job to do. This Valspar paint and primer did a fantastic job. It went on smoothly and did the job. The primer being mixed in was what I needed to get the job done. I had no issues with opening the can, stirring the paint or drips on the walls. I will be using this brand on my next project.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't love painting, and my wife often sees flaws where I need that 2nd (or 3rd or 4th) coat, so we often opt for leaving things as is until neither of us can take it anymore. So when I had the chance to pick up Valspar® Accolade® Interior Paint & Primer I was pretty happy to give it a go, hoping to get good coverage with minimal coats. The good news is, that's exactly what Valspar gave me…bright uniform color, with minimal effort, and a durability to match. I ordered it online, and it came well packaged and safe, a plastic ring protecting the lid, so I didn't have to deal with any flaws right from the top. While I know the Valspar name, and respect it as a brand as it has had staying power, I've never given too much thought when choosing paint. Well no more, as Valspar has certainly earned my trust. With this paint (frost white for me)I achieved a flawless coat with no discernible variation in shade after a coat or two. And because it is satin, it is easy to clean, making it perfect for kitchens, dining rooms, or bathrooms. I used it to refresh and brighten the trim of my studio, and it really brightens up the space…I'm considering doing all the walls with it, as it covers so well…which has been a dreaded project for me since I'm dealing with rough plaster walls that show any imperfections. And because it has primer in it, it easily covered the previous color, which saved me time, my most precious commodity. It dried quickly (I gave it a few hours), and took a second coat and touch ups well. I'm very happy with this product from Valspar, and this certainly will be a staple on any upcoming paint projects! Thanks Valspar, you've made something I dread into something I only mildly don't look forward to;)
