I was able to complete an accent wall with this paint and the matte finish is fantastic - it's held up well to stain/scuffs and overall a very solid paint product. If you're hesitant, give it a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with the Valspar Accolade® Interior Paint & Primer. I had a room that was previously painted with a sea blue color, and I was re-painting it off white and had concerns of how many coats it would take. To my surprise the first coat worked great. It was easily the smoothest painting of a room I have ever done. I also used the Valspar Wall and Trim angle brush for around the crown molding and corners and that made the job so much easier than my past painting projects. I'm so impressed with the finished product and how east it was that I'm now looking to do other rooms.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Espetus great coverage. I love the color as well really easy to apply and since it's paint plus primer it's easy to cover up the bottom. I'd recommend this to anyone and just do it yourself or I can get a good paint job with no issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I trust Valspar for reliable, great quality paints. This is my first time using Valspar's Accolade Interior Paint with Primer and I found it has a nice consistency, is easy to use with a brush or roller, applies well with no mess and is easy to clean up. It easily covers in one coat and I also love the fact that this has primer so I don't have to worry about what I am painting over. I was able to roll rooms with one coat and had no bleed through when covering a darker color. The rooms looked refreshed all the while I painted with this paint. This paint is so nice it actually made the old paint look ugly. I used the color “New Ream” in satin finish and it really makes the rooms look modern, clean and airy. I usually use ceiling paints for ceilings but used this on ceilings in two rooms with great coverage and results. I also used this on trim with a Valspar trim brush and it was really relaxing to brush paint with this paint it applies so well and looks great. I will definitely use Valspar Accolade paint again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Ultra White in this paint. I love it. I painted the trim in my living room and dining room. I love that this has the primer in the paint. Works great for covering and stain on your walls without having to primer first. This paint drys very quickly normally within one hour. I love the satin finish with this paint. This paint goes on very easy and with a good valspar brush does not streak. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to do some painting in their home this spring/summer. This is by far the best paint I have ever used.

I didn't have to go over the paint more than once, and it covered the first time going on. When you're only doing a very small room painting, it twice doesn't seem like a hassle but when you're doing two or three, or if you are doing difficult trimwork being able to do it once is a godsend thank you Valspar I couldn't be happier.
