[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paint is so awesome! Smooth one coat coverage with a great satin finish. We were covering up a relatively bright aqua color in our hallway that I would have suspected to need multiple coats to cover it as previous paints I have tried did. However I was pleasantly surprised by this paint easily covering it with one coat. Cut in the edges with a quality Valspar brush and rolled the rest. It went on very smoothly and evenly. This is hands down the easiest paint I have ever applied. No overpowering odors either. Once dried, the satin finish was smooth to the touch and feels durable, which should stand up to small children with markers and such that will need to be scrubbed off. The 100% acrylic formula was also incredibly easy to clean from the brush, roller and everything it accidentally came into contact with. It did not require any additional prep work in addition to the standard prep for interior painting. We've already tested its durability to kids bumping their toys into it and it has help up exceptionally well. This is a great product, especially for do it yourselfers that don't want to spend the time applying multiple coats of paint. I am definitely totally impressed with this paint in every aspect. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not nor.ally use paint and primer together. However this time I did and I'm not sure there is any going back after this. I used this paint to cover up walls that were pink and purple mixed together. So yes as you can imagine a hard job to do. This Valspar paint and primer did a fantastic job. It went on smoothly and did the job. The primer being mixed in was what I needed to get the job done. I had no issues with opening the can, stirring the paint or drips on the walls. I will be using this brand on my next project.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with the Valspar Accolade® Interior Paint & Primer. I had a room that was previously painted with a sea blue color, and I was re-painting it off white and had concerns of how many coats it would take. To my surprise the first coat worked great. It was easily the smoothest painting of a room I have ever done. I also used the Valspar Wall and Trim angle brush for around the crown molding and corners and that made the job so much easier than my past painting projects. I'm so impressed with the finished product and how east it was that I'm now looking to do other rooms.

We got this primer and paint in a light color as we wanted and it covered with no issues! This is my new to go paint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Valspar® Accolade® Interior Paint & Primer a few weeks ago to paint the interior of our pool house. The paint was great and did a wonderful job as a primer and paint. It was thick enough that I did not need a second coat. The low voc was perfect so that I was not breathing paint fumes all day.

I was very excited that the paint had primer mixed in and it really did only take one coat. The blue color is gorgeous. I love my updated laundry room…although it is small and not the most functional, this update makes me very happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with how low odor this paint is. I'm prone to headaches when painting and it didn't happen with this product. The next morning after painting, there was none of the usual strong fresh paint smell. For that reason alone, I will stick to this paint collection in the future. The project I did involved a hallway and a playroom at the bottom of the staircase. It wasn't a huge makeover but the walls were dull, yellowed and patched up. It freshened them up and the finish is far superior now. The walls have a nice sheen and any future stain will be easy to clean off. The color I chose was “New Ream”. I thought there would be an hint of beige in it but it's more of an ultra white. I liked that I could save time and skip the primer with this paint. It had no problem covering existing stains on the wall. However, it appeared blotchy after one coat and a second coat was definitely needed, especially where the paint had been applied with a paint brush along the edges. Other than that, the paint dried super fast and that made it easy to complete each area of my project in a day.
