These work awesome, just have to exercise a little caution when using it. But it will sharpen up your knifes really sharp. I've used them for years. I have to keep buying myself more sharpeners when I show people how good they work, they take my sharpener and tell me to order another one, lol. (True story too)

If they would make it out of metal with replacement sharpening edges, you would see at least one in every kitchen knife drawer AND ONE IN EVERY FISING TACKLE BOX!

Use sharpener is for people like me who really don't have a skills to sharpen in a traditional way. Having read the reviews before ordering the sharpener, I wasn't sure what to expect. The only thing I can figure out is that a lot of people didn't bother to read the instructions! It's never been so easy to sharpen a knife!!! It might not LOOK impressive, but it sharpens quickly and easily, and it's one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. AND it's made in the USA! I absolutely love it. Oh! I thought the price was a little high to begin with, but having used it, it's worth every penny!

Seems like a pretty good product I use it to sharpen some of my knives and it gave me a good edge. I've used similar sharpeners in the past and this one is as good or maybe even a little bit better. The hardest part is to get used to is to not push too hard on the blade.

This sharpener is a great deal for a cheap price. I took all my big knives and sharpened each one at a time. I discovered that if you press hard and go slowly down the blade of the knife while sharpening with this tool, this will give you the best results. You may have to repeat this process up to eight or ten times. The best way to prove the knife is sharp is to take a piece of paper, hold the paper up and slice the paper straight down with the knife. It should cut the paper with great ease and not crumple up. All of my knives will now cut like butter and hard vegetables are very easy to slice. Don't waste your time with expensive electric sharpening machines. This tool will do almost as good of job. I definitely recommend this sharpener and it fits write into my drawer. Also, Americas Test kitchen recommended this sharpener.

As with most knife sharpeners, you need to be very careful with anything you do with knives! The instructions Must be followed in order to avoid serious injury keeping in mind that you want to sharpen your blade to the proper angle and Depth as needed without damaging your blade and or causing serious injuries to yourself. This is an important step in usage, to Follow the instructions that come with it! There is No Safety measures, you are working closely to the Blade that is Open that Will Cause Injury if Not Followed properly by the included safety precautions.
