Bogus
First time I ever received this filter type without the original box/packaging it should have. Filter all by itself with bubble wrap in a bigger box. I'm assuming it's original GM product but no way to tell.

Junk defect
Ordered 2 of these because I like to keep a couple on the shelf since I change my own oil. Both of them were leaking due to a defect!
