Well made filter. I cut open every one after an oil change on my Enclave. They are an improved oil flow design inside with plenty of pleated filter material. Will keep buying these. Oh yeah, ease of installation? Lol, that depends on the vehicle. ;-)
I have a 2013 Chevy avalanche %26 this oil filter is long enough to manage %26 getting to it is very easy. It beats the manufacturers little short stubby oil filter that so hard getting to. So if you have the 5.3 L V8 engine it's the same exact filter but longer %26 much more manageable to get to and change.
This filter is getting harder to find in the stores and if you can find them, they are fairly expensive. Ordering these filters from Walmart are an easy way to find them in stock at a good price.
When you need an OEM oil filter for your GM, AC Delco is the one to get. Perfect fit for the 2011 Buick Enclave with the 3.6L engine. Excellent value for OEM parts from Walmart
As this filter also fits my truck I picked it up although I had already purchased one at another store due to the delay in the Walmart arrival. I would have waited if I had known the delay was only an hour but Walmart didn't know if you had it or not, then didn't know when it would get here.
Use PF63 AC Delco OEM filters while vehicle is under warranty and keep receipts of oil and filters for verification if there is a warranty issue
My theory is the factory uses AC so why Change something that isn't broke. Don't Make A lot of sense to me
It's does what it's supposed too I suppose. Haven't ran into any issues since my oil change so guessing we are good
OEM at a good price.. Not much else to say here.
I try to use OE AC Delco on my Chevy when available but in this case, the gasket fell off while I was mounting the gasket to the side of my 3.6 liter V6. I had applied a coat of motor oil to the mounting surface of the gasket before installing it. Every thing looked fine but upon starting the engine to circulate the new oil, there was oil going everywhere %26 I lost 2 or 3 quarts before cutting off the engine %26 determining the oil filter gasket was no longer there. I've done 100's of oil changes in my 68 years %26 never had a gasket fall off during install (until now).
