My son plays soccer which means there are several bumps and such that occur whether in a game or not. I have two of the packs in my car for cases where a ice pack may be needed. These are excellent to have on hand when you play ball on a regular basis. It's common to tweak an ankle, so to be able to pull a cold compress out of your bag immediately helps to keep swelling to a minimum. While the compress may not work the same as actual ice, the immediate effect is well worth the convenience and you can always continue treatment later. Overall this is a great product to keep in your gym bag or first-aid kit.
