Acer Aspire 11.6" Touchscreen Laptop, Intel Celeron N3050, 32GB SSD, Windows 10 Home, R3-131T-C1YF

Tried to do my research on-line, I wanted a more tablet feel, but needed a built in keyboard for some of my work. I was leery of Windows 10 because of the learning curve, but I am very pleased with the performance, size and design of this Acer machine. With the touchscreen I don't even need the auxiliary mouse that I have had with my Toshiba Satellite for years. I can flip the keyboard out of the way and have a comfortable tablet experience. The price is fair and I used the "Pick up Today" at the store which saved me from locating a clerk in the Electronics department.

At first, I was a bit hesitant to buy this laptop. I am big on speed and was worried that it wouldn't keep up or delay searches. I haven't had any problems with it so far. I mainly use for my online classes, web browsing, and Microsoft Office Documents. I love how it converts four ways. You can even rotate it sideways to read a book. I also like the fact that it is small and light enough for me to carry to class. I was also concerned about the 32 GB of memory, but so far I haven't had any issues with it. I have Microsoft Office, Itunes, Acrobat Reader Netflix, as well as a few other minor apps and it hasn't caused my any problems. As long as you keep a minor amount of basic apps, you should be ok. Also to help ease space, I keep most of my files on my flash drive rather than my laptops hardrive. Overall, I am completed satisfied with the purchase and would definitely recommend it for student as well as adults who don't do major computer work.

Purchased this for my husband to take on business trips. He wanted a compact laptop with the features that this has. He added the MS Office Suite and removed some of the factory installed apps that isn't needed to help with the running speed. The unit can be a bit slow when running updates but he plans to upgrade the drive at a later time. Over all the unit is worth the price and it is a nice compact laptop.

I had this laptop for two weeks now and definetly need to uninstall mcfee antivirus which makes the laptop run slow. Everything else is pretty good, I don't like windows 10 but you get used to it. Size and weight is pretty good. I even played some games and runs awesome.

I use this for downtime activities. It has handled shopping, streaming and gaming effortlessly. The 360 degree rotation was the selling point for me and I love it.

Awesome.... was way more than I expected to be for the price!!!!! Plus its so small and handy, I take it with me to work everyday.

This is a great computer for someone who is going to school. Even brand new the computer can lag and be very slow at times, so wouldn't recommend it for anyone who wants to play the laptop does not have enough processing speed

I purchased one last weekend and was given the older model. The touch screen did not work. Talked to Acer support 3 times and they determined it was broke. Returned it for another one (newer model). This one worked but when I tried to open anything it would beep loud and CPU maxed. Talked to ACER and it was a hardware fail. Returned again and was given an older model again. So far this one lags extremely bad. I'm in the process of trying to get it to Windows 10. Last try then I am returning it and trying something else. Over all design I love though.

I just bought this today and took it out. I put it on charger and came back home. I was really excited because I got a computer that I can use for school ( disappointed that it didn't come with a CD drive but I was still OK with it) I put in my info with the mouse then I go to the next screen to type in my password for my Internet. Well none of the keys work! The only thing that worked was the on-screen keyboard. I tried the fn+f11 buttons and several others but nothing! I'm upset because the HP is cheaper and I'm sure the keyboard works! I'm going back to another Walmart tomorrow and getting another computer. So dissatisfied!

We bought this laptop knowing 32 GB was a little on the small side and that we could upgrade the hard drive later. Now Windows 10 after several updates takes up 85% of the factory drive. It was time to upgrade the storage, or so I thought. No where is it listed that the storage is under upgradeable, so I went and bought a bigger storage SSD. I went to install the SSD and come to find that I just wasted my money. First off, I opened the back of the laptop and found out that there was no hard drive installed and that the 32gb is on an EMMC chip soldered into the motherboard. No big deal I thought I'll just install the SSD in the space provided. Quickly I found out that I couldn't install the drive because Acer failed to install the SATA port on the motherboard on this Walmart version of this laptop. Ok so I can't install the drive in the laptop on to plan b. Next I tried to use the SSD as an external drive. I don't how Acer has the EMMC set up but any time I tried to use the SSD as an external drive it would give me several errors and render the laptop unusable. Bottom line if you are planning on using this laptop to check email and surf the Web maybe this is the laptop for you but if you need to run any programs I wouldn't recommend this version of the laptop
