Well pleased with the performance of the Acer laptop after getting all my apps installed

Adequate computer for simple tasks like web browsing, streaming Hulu, running MS office, provided you do not try to do all of them at the same time. Screen is 1080 full HD but need to turn off all other applications if streaming full HD video. Build quality appears to be better than that of HP laptops. The keys are black with white letters, a very important visual help for older people like me. The black keys plus windows 10 ( as opposed to win 11) made the deal for me and hence 2 bonus stars (computer performance is worth only 2 stars). Shipping by Walmart was AWFUL. I provided PO box address but Walmart was stupid enough to ship it by Fedex ground, which does not deliver to po box.

The brightness is lacking, the sound from the speakers is very low with drivers updated and all on 100 percent even the Realtec Cannot acess Spectrum TV and spent days trying to figure out why. It worked on my old dell inspiron, until I dropped it. is of low standards no equalizer or any added settings. I am thinking about returning it now that I have had it for a week/

8 days after the return policy expired, the dang thing won't charge. I keep it plugged in. Here it is only 38 days after I bought it and all of a sudden the battery logo is going low while plugged in. Unplugged and plugged back in, it doesn't recognize the cord is plugged in, won't charge up. What a piece of junk, just barely over a month of use before it fails to work properly. Now I'm without a computer because I can't just return for a refund and buy a new one, have to wait weeks on end for the warranty cr@p, gettting approval to send in for repairs, waiting for them to receive it, waiting for it to be (hopefully) fixed, then waiting for the shipping for it to get back to me. Won't buy Acer again.
