I love the fact that this chrome book is so easy to use, light weight, can also be used as a tablet. Never did I think this brand would be as great as the really high quality chrome books. Thank you for giving me a chance to try this this! I would definitely buy one for my daughter for Christmas!

What a great little notebook! Love the powder chrome finish and lightness of this. I use it mostly for uploading my photography images then editing. The resolution is great and it simply connects to my internet. You can: create documents with Google docs, make spreadsheets with Google sheets and create presentations which is great if you're on the business or you're a student. It also has Google chat you can listen to music, play YouTube videos and watch movies. It has 32 GB and a 11.6 inch screen with four gigabytes of RAM memory. The battery life is about 15 hours. In all, it's a great little notebook and I would definitely recommend it. I did receive this item free for an honest review.

Oh how I love this Acer Chromebook! I decided to get a Chromebook after I lost my laptop when I left my job earlier this year. I wanted to do some work from home and didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I also didn't want to buy the least expensive model. I decided to go mid-range and I'm so glad I did! I honestly didn't realize how much you could do with a Chromebook. I love how lightweight this is. I can carry it in my bag and it doesn't weigh any more than a book. But it's also very well-made and sturdy. I charged it up the night I got it and I used it over the next four days without having to recharge it. When the battery gets down to about 50% the charging light turns red to let you know it's getting low. At that point I went another two days before recharging it. I also really, really love that it's a touchscreen. And I love that the screen folds all the way back. When I use it in bed at night I can lean back and put it in my lap and adjust the screen to the exact position that I need it at. I can type on the keyboard and use the touchscreen, which I've never been able to do with a laptop before. It's really convenient. If I fold it all the way back, an on-screen keyboard pops up so it can be used as a tablet. Another nice feature which my teenage daughter loves is that I can login by unlocking my cellphone. If for some reason I forget my password, I can still access my Chromebook as long as I have my phone. Or if I need to let my daughter into my Chromebook and I'm not around, I can unlock my phone and let her in without actually giving her my password. Super convenient. I can download and access my phone apps and messages on my Chromebook. In fact, when I was setting it up (which was super fast) it asked me if I wanted the same apps that are on my phone. I love that it has documents and spreadsheets. A helpful tip for anyone using documents -- Placing the cursor at the beginning of a document and Shift+Mouseclick at the end of a document lets you highlight the whole document. Ctrl C allows you to copy text and Ctrl V will paste it. Once I knew that, it was all good. I highly recommend the Acer Chromebook for both affordability and quality.

I absolutely love this Chromebook! Its very easy to set up and the graphics are sharp and clear. It like being there. All the apps load lightening quick and its very easy to personalize. If you have an android phone, this is definitely for you. The Chromebook is to the android user as the ipad is to the iPhone user. Perfect companions. This is amazing for shopping and anything I use my laptop for. In fact this has replaced my Lenovo laptop. Happy, Happy, Happy with this item! I highly recommend the Chromebook. That being said, I have an iPhone and ipad.

This is my first time owning a laptop of any kind. I have always used a traditional desktop or my phone for anything "computerish". I am still learning, but this Acer Chromebook Spin makes it so easy. I have used Chrome as my search engine for years. All I had to do for setup with the Chromebook was to enter my Google credentials and it did the rest. All of my favorites were ready for display. A couple of features I really like are the touch screen and the spin. I find it very helpful for recipe searches and baking, especially for the holidays. Instead of running back and forth to my desktop to see ingredient amounts and instructions, I key in my recipe search, select, and spin. The Chromebook stands on end and I scroll through the recipe in real time with my fingertip on the screen. See attached pictures.

This is great for traveling. It is very transportable and easy to maneuver on long plane or car trips. I love how it functions as a tablet and as a PC. The only flaw I see is that a lot of my favorite game apps are not available on this like it is on my cell or fire tablet. I have been using this for Christmas shopping. Love the larger screen compared to my cell or 8" tablet. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a tablet/PC combo.

This is my first lightweight versatile computer and I love it. I am used to bulkier laptops such as the toshiba brand. This laptop is nice because of the different ways it can take shape. It can be used at a more professional work setting or a more comfortable setting. You can fold it into a tablet shape while lying on the couch binge watching Netflix. It is much more convenient then having a big bulky laptop sitting in your hands or lap. You can set up different accounts on the device. My husband and I both have our own logins. This way we can have the desktop organized the way we want and not have anything that is unnecessary to us. I was concerned about not having Microsoft office because I have always had laptops with it, but that surprisingly has not been an issue because you can download Microsoft apps to view, edit and create documents. The battery life has lasted a long time too. We do not have to plug it in for several days. We do only use it for a couple hours a day though.

I have owned Apple products for 15 years so I thought getting an Acer Chromebook was going to be challenging with many learning curves, I was wrong. I really like this tablet and its very easy to use. I will admit I prefer my desktop with a big screen, but it's not portable. I have an older, really slow, I-pad 4th generation. I got this to replace the I-pad and I love it, no regrets. I love the touch screen, though sometimes it's not as sensitive to touch but it might be my fingers as touch screens are not always responsive to fingers. I have a felt tip stylus pen that I keep in my travel bag. I plan to try a blue tooth stylus pen but do not have one yet. I like the built in keyboard but there is an adjustment to typing on a condensed keyboard, but way better than the i-pad keyboard where you lose half the screen or its built into your protective cover and needs charging or batteries. The other nice feature is the Chromebook's piano hinged keyboard can flip all the way around if you do not want to use it. For me this is the best of two worlds in that I get compact computer features in an i-pad size tablet that I can take with me on the go. It's also lightweight. The WIFI is very responsive picking up a strong signal, and the processor is super fast. The battery life is also fantastic. It also has a camera that takes decent photos or videos. You can attach a wireless mouse or use the track pad as there is one usb-a style port and one usb-c port. There is a volume control on the side and a plug for headphones. Set up was easy and it prompts you exactly what to do, it took about 15 minutes and I was up and running. I am still getting the hang of using the Google Play Store to purchase Apps. The tablet uses i-cloud storage and only about 20 GB of that storage is available for apps. If you are new to Chromebooks, or computers in general, this is more of a tablet not a full laptop replacement. My husband has a dell laptop that he can take with him when we travel, but its heavy and bulky, this is not. The Chromebook costs a fraction of a laptop or ipad! The only negatives to the Chromebook are limited storage, they are not recommended for gaming, no Microsoft Office, tho I use Doc which was a free app, and there is no video editing. Other than that it's a portable, affordable alternative to an i-pad.

I've only had a desktop for the past few years and was looking to get a laptop. This Acer Chromebook is an amazing little laptop with great features. Set up was fairly easy. You log in with your google account and you have to verify with another device for extra safety. My current computer is a Mac desktop and all of my other devices are Apple so it too a little time to get used to the controls and features of this Chromebook, but it's been easier than I had thought it would be to get used to it. You can get help from the laptop itself too. I love the flip/convertible feature, especially when I want to sit in bed/on the sofa and relax while browsing the internet or watching youtube. The screen works in every position too. The only thing I have to complain about is that I wish you could just power up and go, but you do have to log in to Google every time. Other than that minor complaint I'm very happy with this Acer Chromebook. It's fast, the screen is big enough yet not too big. I like the ability to either use touchscreen or the keyboard. The screen is very sharp/clear which I appreciate when viewing pictures and watching videos. I would definitely recommend this Acer Chromebook.

I got mine in February and now the screen locking up. I cannot use the keyboard, mouse or touch-screen. I tried to do a chat and its unavailable. The self service said to do a driver update which I tried...but the update is only for windows. Not Chrome. I was so excited about this - I had an Acer years ago and it lasted forever. This one is so disappointing.
