The laptop came in nicely packaged box with no damages. It's a bit heavier than my other gaming laptop, which I do notice when carrying it around, but it still gets the job done well. From the benchmarks I ran, the CPU performs great for single core tasks, so things like browsing, streaming and light editing feel quick and responsive. Multicore performance is decent, but when it comes to heavier workloads like rendering, it can start to struggle a little. There does seem to be a slight CPU–GPU bottleneck, so the graphics card isn't always pushed to its full potential.
Storage is another big win. Everything loads super fast, from booting up to launching games. RAM is fine, but it looks like it might be running in single-channel mode, which is something I plan to upgrade for a performance boost. It does get warm during longer gaming sessions and the fans can get a bit loud, but that's pretty typical for gaming laptops. Battery life is what you'd expect—good for basic use, but not really suitable for gaming unplugged. All in all, I think this is a great mid-range gaming laptop. It's reliable, performs well for 1080p gaming, and with a small upgrade or two, it could be even better.
