This has been a great laptop to my home. I don’t use a computer often and when I do I expect it to run fast. Anyways this doesn’t have a lot of internal storage which is fine cause I prefer to store all my stuff on external storage anyways. For me to get on the Internet and do the little I need to do while on it. It seems to work extremely well for that. I love the idea of the fingerprint technology to have secure access especially if you are sharing a room with someone so they can’t access anything inside the computer. I love how slim it is. I can pack this around and not have to worry about putting it in a bag it’s so small and light. Screen is large and has a great picture. Sound is nice and loud. I have no issues with the sound as I have heard others complain about. This laptop is the perfect addition to my home and I am extremely happy with it. Works well for me and my children. Great features.

OMG, Acer Swift 1 is really wonderful! It looks beautiful with color combination of black and silver, it is really lightweight and the 14” screen-size is perfect. It has great battery life, it shows 20hrs after the first full charge, that’s so cool! It comes with three USB ports, one SD card reader slot, one HDMI, one for headphone, looks like one mini USB. There is no network LAN port, you have to buy USB-to-LAN converter cable. It also comes with fingerprint reader for security. I started the machine to setup to my liking, that’s when I learned that the machine comes with Windows 10 OS with S mode. S-mode is intended to make your PC secure and perform well, however, it also makes it extremely inflexible. I like Firefox, but it would not allow me to install, I could only use Microsoft Edge. So, I decided to switch out of S mode and thank God there is an easy way out! Keep in mind that it is one-way switch, you can’t go back. You can go to Microsoft Store and search “Switch Out of S mode”, click on Get and follow along, it takes a few seconds. I was then able to install Firefox :-). I removed unnecessary apps, created additional accounts, set all the privacy settings, checked for Windows updates, ran Windows defender scan. The machine felt extremely fast! I am very happy with this laptop. If you are a student or looking for a lightweight laptop, I would highly recommend this one.

The Acer Swift 1, 14 Full HD Notebook, Intel Pentium Silver N5000, 4GB, 64GB HDD, SF114-32-P2PK packs a big punch in a small vessel. This notebook seems to be geared toward users who primarily use online tools such as Google Docs or Office 365 primarily because it does not have a large hard drive built in. If this is the type of use that you want, then this notebook is perfect for you. It has a ton of nice features in a small size: the screen is a very sharp 1080HD, all metal case, HDMI port, 3 USB port, 16 hour battery life, and it weighs next to nothing. There is a M.2 slot available on the motherboard if you want to add a solid state drive of that type to the notebook. I love the fact that it is so light and just the right size to be able to type pretty easily but also store it in backpack or briefcase without taking up too much room. Besides the size of the hard drive the only other feature I don’t like is that in the Windows S mode it will only let you install verified apps from the Microsoft Store. Overall this notebook is a great buy and I would highly recommend it.

I positively love this laptop. It is the thinnest laptop I have ever owned. It has all the things you expect from a laptop (all the technical stuff- the Intel inside, 64GB HDD, Windows 10, etc.) I love the HDMI port, the SD port (for my big camera memory card), and the three USB ports as well. Up to 17 hours of battery life is amazing! The setup was ludicrously easy- I simply signed into my Microsoft account and signed into my One Drive! So easy! Everything loaded right up- just the way I like it! I am not entirely sold on the S mode, but it certainly feels safe. The screen is a smidge smaller than my last laptop- but certainly large enough for all my tasks! I was already a Microsoft Suite subscriber- and much to my happy surprise, my account added 12 months paid (instead of just giving me a few free months until my annual subscription is due- laptop comes with a 12 month subscription to Office 365). I really just love this laptop! I can personalize it anyway I want! If I want to do the apps type of view, I can. If I prefer the old school start menu, I can do that too! Cortana will answer my spoken questions when I tell her to listen. The fingerprint reader is out-of-this-world! I cannot recommend this enough! For school or work or “projects” at home- this is an amazing laptop!

I received this Acer Swift 1 SF114-32-P2PK, 14 Full HD, Pentium Silver N5000, 4GB DDR4, 64GB eMMC, Office 365 Personal, Windows 10 Home in S mode in exchange of an honest review. When I ordered this Laptop I wasn't sure if I did the right thing. It look so small and simple and cheap. When I received my Acer Laptop it came very protective. It had cardboard all around it. It comes in the color silver. It does come with its charger. The Laptop is able to bend all the way to the back until its completely flat. The colors in the Laptop are very sharp color. . When on a dark place or room the colors does seem matte colors. Out of a few very affordable laptops I looked around this is the best one for its price. It has a very good display. This is a very lightweight Laptop weighting around 2-3 lbs. Very lightweight to carry around. Even though it's metal design it's very lightweight. It does come with bluetooth . On the sides it comes with USB ports , around 3 of them . It also comes with an ad card reader. It comes with a portable adapter. You may also listen to your music it does have a place for you to connect your earphones. On the other side of the Acer you may lock your laptop. You may speak to catorna from your Laptop its look talking to goggle. It has its own microphones. Another thing I love about this laptop it comes with a security code. Besides the one it comes in every Laptop this one also comes with a fingerprint security lock . You may have both if you like. The color is very good . Every time I watch videos or movies the color is great. Great for YouTube. Some apps work great on here. The best part I dont need to download most of the apps are download for you. Facebook , Netflix and YouTube and many more. The Microsoft program in it works amazing. Once it's completely charged after that unless it's around 6 to 8 hours for the battery to die. It also works very well on gaming. It's not super fast but not slow at all. Out of all the affordable laptops this is the best Laptop they have for this good price. Theirs only one thing I did not like about it is the keyboard feels cheap. Made out of plastic. Omg i was so excited when i received this laptop. The laptop itself is so slim and thats most definitely a plus. Usually my step son sets up all my electronics in my home but i found this extra easy to do myself. As soon as the computer powered on a assistant talk me through the whole set up. Even conneting it to the internet and resetting the time was easy. Im truly in love with my Acer laptop. Also its not bulky so it can be easily transported.

I am excited to review Acer Swift 1 laptop because it's a great product. First of all, if you are looking for a good laptop that won't break the bank, this is the one you want. I've always spent around $350-$450 for a laptop or netbook and this one falls around that range. It is hands down the best laptop I've owned! I've had Acers before but this one is better than the others I have had. The first thing you notice when opening the packaging is that it's slim and light weight. I actually timed the set up and it took me 1 minute to get everything out of packageing and a total of 7 minutes to set it all up and connect to the internet. It was all very easy to set up with on screen instuctions. The graphics quality on the screen is great, it is very fast and you even get a whole year of MS Office 365 for free! I like that the battery life is much longer than my other lap tops. The fingerprint reader for extra security is pretty cool. I've never had one of those on a computer before so this device shows you how far laptops have come with technology. I think this laptop would be great for students or people on the go who like the light weight feel and slim design but still need a decent size screen as many laptops these days are lacking in screen size for one of this price point. I only wish the keyboard was back light but no biggie. Overall recommended!

I love this laptop and the price is amazing for this. Its sleek and lightweight and the screen display is amazing. It also has fingerprint access to log into your computer and that shocked me LOL. I needed to buy one ASAP for a future job and everywhere near me is sold out of laptops because everyone such as kids and adults are working from home. So I was nervous to buy this online and it need the right one for me but its great !

I received this product as a member of the walmart spark reviewer program. Upon receiving this laptop in its package i could tel it would be extremely light weight. Once I opened the box and removed it my thoughts were fully confirmed. It is actually very conveniently constructed. The body looks like it is made from a nice aluminum material alloy. When closed it looks very sleek and the design is very nice. However, the black lip design to open the laptop is annoying especially for people with big hands. It is almost like opening a tightly sealed ziplock bag. regardless, it functions like a nice PC and does okay with regards to the speed according to the specifications. I did not expect much in performance from this PC and it does not disappoint or exceed its own standards. BE CAREFUL, i had to reset the entire installation because i turned of the touch pad (the touch sensitive click was annoying and uncontrollable with regards to mistakenly opening programs). Once i turned it off i could use the laptop again as i couldn't figure out how toter it mac kon (for you information it is Fn + F7; let me save you the hassel). I also requires a pin code to log on if you have a windows/xbox account. This is mandatory. The big plus is that it comes with OFFICE already installed. Huge perk as this is why i purchased it to begin with.. it doesn't have much storage space (55GB which his really only 47GB after packaged programs), but it does have 2 usb-3 and 1 usb-c port.

First off, I am disappointed in the fingerprint sign in option. I have another laptop I use this with, and it works great. This ACER laptop can never read my fingerprint. Myself and my husband have reset our fingerprints in settings several times, and it continues to not recognize us by fingerprint. The laptop itself works well. The scrolling and zooming using the touch pad works great. It easily knows if you want to scroll or zoom based on your touch. It senses and reads my touch better than other laptops. Viewing the screen from angles does work. You can be off to the side and still see the screen well. The video quality is good, smooth and fast. The colors are vibrant. Audio is typical for a laptop. The speakers are on the bottom. I don’t like this. When the laptop is on your lap, it distorts the sound. I would rather have the speakers on top below the screen so the audio is directed towards you. The battery life has lasted quite a while. I charge it before it gets too low anyway. The keyboard feels good to type on, it is easy to find the keys. The keyboard is not backlit like some other laptops. I like the backlit better. The laptop is slim, light, and great for carrying on the go.
