What a fast laptop! Acer has slam dunk with this great looking sleek laptop, here's why. First it's futuristic, classy, light and slim, even a child could carry this around with one hand comfortably. It charges fast, unlike my old HP laptop that took all night and still wasn't fully charged. This one charges up very fast for me. It gets better once you set it up. Such a bright clear screen like an Ipad but bigger. That I5 processor runs Movies, youtube, social media and video games come through crystal clear. I ran my FFXIV MMORPG on this laptop and it ran just fine and unlike my old laptop it didn't get too hot to touch after gaming for an hour. My old Dell laptop could almost cook an egg it got so hot. Not a problem for me new Acer. I was able to go almost 2 days of on and off surfing and video gaming without having to charge it back up. This will be gold on my next overnight plane trip.It has plenty of Ram to run anything I need it too and a whopping 256GB of storage. Even with the entire collection of the Star Wars movies, Baby Yoda tv shows and 3 games I saved to it it's still barely made a dent in it's storage capacity. Be it for business, pleasure or just as an all around family laptop you can't go wrong with this Acer swift 3.

Just out of the box I adore the style and sleek look! The cool aluminum outside feels so official, almost important but lighter even than smaller laptops or tablets, good balance and weight and easy to hold with one hand and type with the other while walking to a meeting or classes. I found myself standing to use it with ease. Really like the keyboard, so responsive and quiet , I am a loud typer even on quiet keyboards and this one is only as loud as my fingers =) The keyboard is backlit which is fabulous but the silver keyboard is a bit hard to see even backlit, if you are a lazy typer or somebody that reaches across to hit a button to continue watching a movie this might be a learning curve . The touchpad is responsive and works like you would expect from the initial use, no learning curve to get used to the way it is , immediately works like it should and lets me dive right into work. Easy set up for a computer , and took just a sec for updating programs. took less than an hour to unbox and set up And get a full charge =) the fingerprint reader I set up and restarted to test login, easy and fast with quick start up. I do like the easy fingerprint to wake the computer, very useful and so easy! downloads and uploads are fast but the transfer via USB is faster than anything really quick and smooth even playing a usb movie was amazing easy to connect directly to TV with hdmi as well to get pics off my camera I put the card in adapter and pic transfer was fast! I am not a fan of some of the preloaded programs that make things harder by trying to make them easy, but it is so easy to change the preferences to what works for you, once you get your preferences set you are off and running! the laptop was a joy to set up the way I wanted , I was really surprised. So easy to connect to any of my networks , I tested several and got amazing quality speed from my gig of fiber - excellent download/upload speed streaming quality is top notch with no loading spinny thing or lag at all, Excellent bright clear picture whether watching a movie or doing homework [apparently new laptops make homework more fun, who knew] as I continue to use it more I really like the typing action and the lightness of the laptop, which means I can sit or stand in any position and type comfortably. the size of the keyboard is perfect and highlighting with the touchpad is more precise than with any other laptop I use. I especially like how responsive the touchpad is and often I will be using both the keyboard and touchpad to create documents for presentations and this is a perfect machine for that! A little thing I noticed [only when it was plugged in and being used] the fan is a bit louder than most laptops I use and if you were in a classroom or office setting where several were running for hours or while plugged in that might be a distraction , but that is just when using while charging and as fast as it charges that wouldn't be an issue. The only thing I changed to make it more usable is delete certain Win10 "features" that are really horrible like that Edge browser and that awful cortana but they are built in with windows , otherwise Win10 is a breeze to set up and use This computer is easy enough I believe even my mom could do a set up and use it without too much help! I think this computer could be set up and used by any age computer user. You could use this laptop for everything from making business presentations to school work .or watching a movie or playing games. I do like that it charges so quickly, much faster than expected! I am enjoying using this laptop for work and fun.

This is by far the best laptop I've ever used. The keyboard is awesome. Keys are beautifully back-lit and spaced well. The trackpad/mousepad is highly responsive and huge, and very convenient. It runs super fast when booting up and opening apps. The screen does an excellent job of keeping glare to a minimum, and the display looks gorgeous. The screen size is perfect for me, especially for a laptop that's as light as this one is. I love the size of it, perfect for packing it up and taking with you. I would recommend this laptop to everyone. Students, especially, would fall in love with this - it's lighter than most workbooks. This fulfills all needs and wants from a laptop - especially in terms of battery life. I've been using this laptop regularly for four days as of now, and I'm only down to 48% - which is incredible! I haven't charged it since the initial charge (which charged very fast). Battery saver mode doubles or even triples the "remaining battery time" depending on the apps used. I use this primarily for gaming - no complaints there. Everything runs smoothly. I haven't yet tried any online multi-player games. In terms of sound / speaker quality, it's very good. One thing to note is that the speakers are located at the bottom of the laptop, but they are at the front and on a beveled surface, allowing the speakers to face forward rather than downwards. I usually prefer speakers to be located on the top of the keyboard, but this is pretty good. This laptop is an incredible buy for the price. In many ways, it's as good as some $1,000+ laptops I've used. For most everyday purposes, you can't go wrong. For both students and travelers, they will appreciate it's sleek form factor and light weight. I myself look forward to taking this one on the road with me once this COVID pandemic is over. This is the perfect size laptop! I have a 11.5" one and it is a little too small. This one is perfect size and the screen is real nice , clear and bright. It turns on quickly and the battery lasts long. The keyboard lights up and the power button is on the keyboard. I like the power button on the keyboard because the other laptop I have it's on the side and I've accidentally pressed it a few times. The download & upload speed is great too. Overall this a great laptop for the price!! i bought this for my son because his school chromebook is so slow. the screen size is perfect. fits in a backpack when neccessary and is very light. battery life is great.

I love this laptop! And this is coming from a MacBook user of 7 years. Let's start with design. It has a sleek, thin body. It's extremely lightweight. The battery life is great - but I guess that depends on what you're doing on your laptop. Screen size is good - I think it's average. I love that it has fingerprint scanning capabilities for signing in. It's super easy when it works. It frequently tells me that it can't recognize my fingerprints. This can be very frustrating. As for how it operates - it's very fast, it's easy to figure out how to use, things seem to be streamlined and efficient. I've only had the laptop for about a month so I can't get into much detail. But I'm very pleased with it's performance thus far!!

This Acer Swift 3 laptop is so sleek and bright! The first thing I noticed about this laptop before I even opened it is how compact and sharp looking it is. It is so much smaller than my old one that I have a lot more room in my backpack now. However, it is pretty amazing how big the actual screen is for such a reduced sized computer. The border around the screen itself is very trim and basically disappears with the vibrancy of the picture. It might just be the kid in me, but I love that the keyboard lights up. I like it because it looks cool, but it also makes it easier to finish up what I am doing while I am relaxing with the lights down. The touch pad is very responsive as well. I use my Acer Swift 3 on WIFI and the internet is fast and responsive no matter how many tabs I have open (which is usually a lot). It is also very easy to find and sign into different WIFI networks. The battery lasts for a really long time. I am not sure exactly how long, but I have not had to charge it very often. On the occasion that I have had to plug it in, it charges back to 100% in no time. This Acer Swift 3 is a very slick looking and highly functional laptop and I highly recommend it.

Nice lightweight sleek model. I like the lit keyboard and speed it has to offer. It was fairly easy and quick to set-up but at many steps you need to sign in/sign up to activate some feature or the other. The likes of Microsoft and Google want to know who you are and track you. Only they know how your personal information will be truly used. If you don't cough it up you really can't activate the computer. Didn't use to be like that with old computers but it seems this is the trend now. My gripe? The Fn (Function) key is in a locked mode and I can't unlock it. In some laptops you can lock/unlock by pressing Fn+Esc keys. That does not work on Acer. I spent few hours on Google searching for an answer and finally gave up. Solutions ranged from uninstalling PS/2 keyboard to making changes to BIOS. Why so complicated? I searched Acer website and couldn't find an easy answer. There is a live chat feature but it seems to be nonfunctional. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I never have the need for support service.

Great price but it was unable to update to the Windows 11.
