Beautiful but only keep it outdoors when temperatures are consistently above freezing.

My well-packed, double-boxed ""fern green"" crackle bowl arrived undamaged. It's currently displayed from the Achla Designs BBH-14Z Ring Hanger, but will be transferred to the Achla FB-14 Ring Stand for a bit of added stability. When the sun strikes this bowl, it produces a brilliantly concentrated and striking focal point of light. This glass bowl is fragile, so it will not do well if left out for the winter. I would like to know the country of origin, but no information was provided on the shipping carton. This is a beautiful piece and makes for a pretty accent addition.

My new memorial garden needed a bird bath but I wanted to include ground birds, quail and the wild bunnies, so I purchased this bowl. Besides a beautiful blue color, it's been durable all summer in our hot sun. I've seen robins, towhees drinking out of it, heard the quail in that garden and of course the bunnies. It added that pop of color the garden needs until next year when the plant are more established and flowering. Great choice!

Replacement for birdbath bowl that broke, it does not fit exactly but at least I can use the stand that I previously purchased.

This bowl is shaped well, deep blue coloring, and looks like it will hold up to the elements. Note that this is for the bowl only. Fortunately, I had a base that works with this bowl. I like the bowl, but based the purchase on it being the bowl and base. My mistake in not reading the description carefully. I recommend the bowl, but a bit pricy given there's no base.

I like the design and color of these bird baths but... it is a gamble ordering one. I purchased a red one and a green one to add some sparkle to my garden (plus I have a lot of bird houses). The green one was fine, the red one was in pieces. Packaging for both was the same. If the initial box that the bird bath is packed in from the manufacturer is dropped or mishandled anywhere along the way, it will shatter. The problem is that you can't always tell that it is broken until you start unraveling the packaging material. Over the past 10 months or so I have purchased 4 of these bird baths online and 2 of the were busted. Hayneedle did refund my cost for the broken one but I would of rather had one that wasn't broken. Too deep and the birds don't like perching on the edge. Tossed it in the trash. :( Two stats for pretty color though.
