Achla GBS-22 Short Stand Planter in Black

This support stand works great for a 12-inch diameter sphere. Three legs insures it sits securely even on slightly uneven surfaces. It especially works well if the sphere is weighted down; I filled my stainless steel sphere half full of masonry sand and it now sits very secure and wind or a light contact will not dislodge the sphere and damage it. This is an simple but elegant design, made of wrought iron. I like that it was low or short because we have wildlife that knocks over some of my garden ornaments and I do want our beautiful globe to get knocked over and broken. Unfortunately my globe was too smaller for this stand and I will need to return it.

I AM VERY HAPPY THAT I FOUND THESE STANDS. THEY ARE LARGER AND BETTER THAN I HAD ANTICIPATED, AND VERY BEAUTIFULLY MADE I PLANNED TO USE THEM TO DISPLAY LARGE GEMSTONE SPHERES INDOORS, BUT THEY HAVE MANY OTHER USE AS WELL. THEY LOOK GREAT ELEVATING POTS OF PLANTS OR BOWLS OF COLLECTABLES. ELEVATING A CENTERPIECE, OR A LARGE VASE. WHATEVER THEY HOLD, WILL BE DISPLAYEF WITH A DRAMTIC ARTISTIC FLARE. I PLAN TO BUY MORE.

Very happy with this purchase. It's very attractive, sturdy and well made and looks great with the gazing ball in my new shade garden and will look even better when I get the annuals planted around it.
