Hooked a rainbow trout from the bank
Tied this 1/4 oz spoon onto the line with a clinch knot before heading down to the rocky shore. Flicked the bail open and casted out into the deep water. The weight pushed the lure far from the bank. Counted to five to let it sink down toward the bottom. Started a steady retrieve, flipping the rod tip up every few seconds to make the metal flutter and flash under the surface. Halfway back, the line went tight and the rod bent down. Pulled back to set the hook. Wrestled a rainbow trout to the shore and scooped it up. The treble hook held tight without bending. Unhooked the fish and noticed the finish did not scratch against the rocks. Placed it back into the tray for the next trip.

Every Tackle box needs them
Acme spoons work for bass fishing they shine nice underwater and attract fish. The hooks are extremely sharp and the 1/4 once is a great weight for long distance casting just let the spoon sink and retrieve slowly and you got yourself a catch!
