Our family has been purchasing this popcorn for years now. The value is amazing! Tastes so good! Our kids are 8 %26 11 and they love a movie night with popcorn. We love it by itself or with a popcorn seasoning - highly recommend the nacho cheese flavor!
This my go to popcorn for movie nights, football nights, anytime snack nights, and just drown your sorrows in a bag of popcorn or two nights. It has taken me 15 years, 1,867 bags or popcorn, and 3 microwaves to finally get the perfect popped bag. Then my mother-in-law comes over and burns a bag on purpose so now everything smells like burned popcorn. I suggest a new mother in law, not a new popcorn.
Budget-friendly snack option, I always purchase the large pantry size. It has a salty, buttery, intense flavor that truly tastes like movie theater popcorn. While it pops the majority of the kernels, there are still quite a few hard ones that feel like they could potentially crack a tooth.
If you want Movie theatre like popcorn at home when watching a movie, this is what you will want. Yes, it has lots of butter, but if you would it Buttered popcorn at the theatre, you will save lots money watching movie at home %26 popcorn with out all the cost. It pops up well, I love it.
it's just too easy and when you're tired and you're a little snack and this whole house smell it good like a movie theater popcorn popping so yeah I just really good I like it some of the ones that are different brands are a little too buttery and kind of slimy or the kernels don't pop up as big this pop's nice and big and the price is right so I'm all about saving some cookies so I had a limited amount to spend on shopping time
before this microwave popcorn come out when I was a young teenager I used to fix popcorn almost every night for me and my dad and I still to this day love popcorn
Love the price but way too many hulls. It's a budget way to have a salty snack. It's also why there are so many corn "puffs" on the market. There is good quality popcorn out there that don't have so many hulls but you get what you pay for. Sure, I'd buy it again unless it goes up in price.
It popped quickly w/no unpopped kernels which was a big plus! Compared to pop secret there's more popcorn in each bag and cost a little less so for value, it comes out on top. It's the flavor where the issue is for me. The texture of the popped corn is perfectly light and crispy but for a popcorn called “butter lovers” I would've expected to have at least a butter flavor. I don't taste any butter at all, real butter, movie butter or even just “fake” butter. I'm not a person who usually salts their food but I had to add salt to the bag %26 sprinkled powdered cheese flavor just to give the popcorn any flavor. Otherwise it was just like eating some biodegradable packing peanuts (if there even is such a thing). If they gave it some flavor It would be the better popcorn all the way around from price to texture to taste!
This was a substitution for the product I ordered so I'd never tried it before. I expected it to be flavorful and it was not. It's bland although it does have a buttery taste but it's like eating buttered paper. I much prefer and recommend the Great Value popcorn.
If you like your popcorn with that nice buttery flavor and soothing scent, look elsewhere.... This is NOT for butter lovers.... Doesn't have the classic smell of buttery popcorn when popping and most definitely doesn't have the buttery flavor either. It's also inconsistent from one bag to the next in the same box.... One bag might be more buttery, the next less, another not buttery at all....
