I purchased this cleaner for our Keurig Coffee Machine instead of their cleaner because of the cost and size of bottle. It worked just as well and does cost less... I was skeptical but figured I'd give it a try. Afterwards the coffee had a better taste again and all was well. I've now purchased this product 3 times and Very Happy with the results.
It didn't clean the calcium buildup inside the coffee machine. I have a Cuisinart single cup coffee machine and after using the entire bottle of cleaner in one day it still says 'descale' on the machine. The machine is only 9 months old and used twice a day.
This did not work on my Keurig at all. I followed instructions exactly, and tried three times. 1/8th of the bottle (4 ounces) into the full water reservoir, and run through twice, empty and then run clean water. I repeated this process three times and it didn't clean it. The descale light just came on, and it is a fairly new (within the last year) Keurig. It still runs sluggish and the descale light is still on after using up half the bottle and running the machine dozens of times through. I also scrubbed the inside of the machine. This is my first time trying a cleaner instead of just vinegar and I'm pretty disappointed.
I would give this a zero if I could! I have used this product twice. Exactly to directions, and it has ruined two Keurig machines! My first was a single serving Keurig. It went through all the cleaning cycles just fine. Then the next morning, it wouldn't fill the cup. We messed around with it and got it to work, thought it was fixed. Nope, following morning same thing. Finally on the third morning it stopped working altogether, overheated the machine %26 it never worked again. I did all the troubleshooting %26 nothing helped. A less-than-one yr old machine in the trash! Now today I used it to clean my Keurig Duo. (Thinking maybe last time was a fluke). Cleaning cycle on the k-cup side went fine but when I started the coffee pot side, just like before, it stopped pouring water through and began to overheat. I unplugged for 10 min. Let it completely cool, and now neither cup or pot side will work! I can hear the water heating but nothing comes out! Two times is not a fluke. There is something in this product that ruins the machines! I should've just stuck to vinegar like I always have in the past. Do NOT buy this stuff!
This descaler doesn't seem to work as well as others we've used. The coffee machine clean light comes on less than 2 weeks after descaling.
It works very well but I am going back to White Vinegar. It is cheaper and I don't mind the smell. If vinegar is an issue, I would buy this.
the product is really good. coffee tasted better after using thsi product. we use descaler every few months. this makes sure to clean all the gunk out
I like this product very much. It leaves no aftertaste and removes all scales from my coffee maker. The coffee has such a clean fresh taste after descaling process.
It did not descale my brewer the descale light is still on I ran solution threw my brewer twice following directions completely and still the descale light is on it is a waste of my money and time now I need to spend more money to purchase another descaling product this time it will be the descaling solution for my specific brewer a Keurig brewer the product is not what it claims to be clearly stating it will descale Keurig brewers I would never r recommend this product
Easy to use and a lot cheaper than Keurig descaling solution. Just used it once and so far seems fine.
