What happened!? I've been buying Activia Vanilla yogurt for years and loved it. They changed the formula and it's terrible comparatively. If you've never eaten it in your life, it would be average to pour, but if you're used to how delicious it used to be it really is bad. (my photos have a slight pink tint because of my light, but the package is white.)
For years, one of my favorite breakfasts has been vanilla Activia yogurt with granola mixed in. However, I don't like the recent change in taste so I won't be buying it again. At first, I thought the granola was stale, but quickly realized it was the yogurt which the company recently reformulated. It wasn't so bad that I'll throw it away, but I'll be looking for a tastier yogurt going forward.
I used to love this brand, but now the taste is okay, but the portion is tiny and the texture is thin. The containers are so flimsy, I accidentally tore one open trying to separate them. The one that tore open wasn't even the one I was pulling on. Won't buy again and don't recommend.
I've tried this a few times since they changed the recipe. It's still disgusting. If I could give no stars, I would. They should never have changed the recipe. Evidently, many people agree on line. Check for yourself. DO NOT BUY IT. YUK
Cannon has changed the flavoring of this product. It is awful! It took me 3 phone calls…the first two of them telling me there had been no change and apologized. The third call was to let me know that they did indeed change up the ingredients quite a bit. The new flavor tastes like burnt plastic. Awful. It is unfortunate as I have been eating the vanilla activists everyday for many years.!
The flavor/ ingredients have changed. It tastes horrible now! I eat this vanilla yogurt every day, and it no longer tastes the same. I have tried to eat it by adding vanilla protien powder or vanilla sugar-free pudding or a little vanilla flavoring.Nothing cuts the nasty taste. I challenge any Executive in their company to taste this 'vanilla' and tell me it in any way it tastes like vanilla. Why did they change the recipe/ flavor? Also, just in case this was a one-off package, I ordered another one . It was delivered today, and it's still tastes horrible. I can't eat what I purchased and since I've opened the packages.I'm sure I can't get a refund. Maybe others will like the new flavor, but it is not vanilla in any way, shape, or form, and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Activia should NOT have changed their recipe! When I opened my yogurt I looked at it and thought it looked spoiled, it was runny and watery! Then I took a bite, and thought maybe I had just gotten a bad batch. Then I researched and found out they changed their recipe. Activia Yogurt used to be thick and creamy and tasted great! It was the only yogurt I actually liked. Not anymore! It's absolutely disgusting now! My sister told me about walmarts yogurt brand (great value greek vanilla yogurt). It's SO good! I will be switching to that brand for now on.
I have bought activia vanilla yogurt for a very long time now, it was my favorite flavor but, no more. I guess when they changed the packaging they they changed something in the flovor too, it is not the same or I got a bad batch. My daughter in law has said the thing. I will still buy activia, just not this flavor.
This used to be our "go to" vanilla yogurt because of it's GREAT taste and smooth texture. The company did a "rebrand" in the summer of 2025 and changed the formula for their vanilla yogurt. It now tastes AWFUL and has a grainy texture. We thought we simply got a bad batch and threw it out. Waited a while ... bought it again ... and had to throw out that purchase too. Nasty! Activia successfully ruined what used to be a VERY good product. Moving on to another brand. R.I.P. to the product I once loved! So sad. Don't waste your money on this junk product.
I would have given a better review, but the item arrived damaged/spoiled due to the driver's delivery time, which decreased the taste, quality, and efficiency of the item. However, on other occasions, when I have had the opportunity to try this yogurt under better conditions and with better quality assurance, the yogurt is recommendable.
