Activision Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

this is a great game. i couldn't play it that good on a nvidia geforce 7100 video card, but when i got my new one which was the nvidia geforce 8600 video card the game ran wonderfully!

If your a fan of the Battlefield series this game will blow you away. Multiplayer is much improved over previous versions. Graphics run smooth! The action will literally get your heart racing!

I have been waiting for a fps like this every since I got my xtx geforce 8800 gts 640. The game is amazing in everyway. The graphics are the best even better than The Lost Planet. This is the best fps shooter to date. VERY ADDICTING.

I must admit, when I went to the store, I had it in mind to buy Crysis (which I did end up getting eventually) but than I remembered the previews for this game and ended up walking out of the store with this game instead. Once I started playing it, I had absolutely zero second thoughts/buyers remorse. This game is lots of fun and looks great. If you like first person shooter games to any extent, you need to try this game. Plenty of twists in the storyline and different styles of gameplay (like the gunship area) that it will keep it fresh and entertaining. The only knock on the game that I could possibly think of is how short the singleplayer gameplay is. Though, it could also be looked at as a positive because some games drag on so long that it becomes stale and boring. I still haven't finished Crysis since I finished this game because you unlock arcade mode where you go for high scores, so my friend and I have been competing with that trying to top each others score. Lots of fun, you won't be dissapointed.

This is one of the best and most fun games I've ever played. I'm not a big fan of single player games but this was more than fun. I felt like I was part of the game and the multiplayer is also really fun to play after you beat single player. 10/10 - Definitely buy this game.

The original "Call of Duty" was one of the first shooters I ever played. I fell in love with the game. Couldn't get enough. Needless to say, I've looked forward to each new version of the game and each one has been better than the last. But "Call of Duty4-Modern Warfare" is like a quantrum leap beyond all the other versions. Everything about the game is much better than before. The graphics and details of the game are so lifelike that it makes you feel like your really there. It's like you feel the recoil of the many different types of weapons that are available. You can hear the bullets zinging all around you. You can almost feel the concussion of the gernades and shells bursting around you. Your not only a frontline grunt, your a sniper or a demolition expert, your a door-gunner on a chopper or a tank commander. You can call in air strikes and even save the world from nuclear holocaust. You can fight as an American or British. Always the good guy against the evil of the world.I can't say enough good about this game. It has won a lot of awards like "Best of Show", "Best Action Game", as well as "Best Shooter" and "Best Graphics". And something totally new to me in a top level action shooter, it has an arcade level that you can access, after completeing all levels the first time, that lets you play against your own high score. As with any game, after you've played it for a while, you get a little tired of it. With the arcade mode you are always trying to top your best so it can go on and on. I think all games should have this feature and I commend "Call of Duty4" for adding it to their game! I rate this game as "5 STAR" !!! THE BEST YET !!!

I purchased this game and this is really awesome! This game will really take you off the edge of your seat. I especially liked the AC-130 Combat Talon mission, it was very nice. I've played a lot of first-person shooter games in the past and this surpassed my expectations.

CoD4 is one of the best games I've ever played. CoD2 was awesome, but CoD4 blows that one away! The singleplayer keeps your attention well, and the graphics are incredible. One bad thing is the singleplayer isn't very long. I beat it in about two days (around eight hours total or so). But you can go back and play the missions after beating the game, and then there's multiplayer, which is amazing! The multiplayer is a mix between an old-fashioned FPS and character-building game, since you get promoted as you play more. I would recommend this game to any gamer!

No much to say except: BEST GAME EVER! Graphics, story, idea... I am in love with these kind of games. I played everything: Half life, Counter strike, Halo, Hitman, Splinter cell, Medal of honor....but this game is completely new experience. Amazing! I was never so impressed as with this game. This game is must have game. Good job! 7 stars for this game!

When i went to install the game i was a bit surprised that the package only held one cd unlike call of duty 2 which i think had 3. After playing thru the game in short order my fears were confirmed the game was quite short. The graphics were very good and the game play was pretty good although CD2 i think was much better. I am going thru it again as a verteran which makes it much harder and longer because you die often. I would say it is worth purchasing but i would wait till the price came down a bit. This game did add a arcade mode which is kind of unique. Have fun
