my acutite clock is this basic one. I've had it now for 5 years and never had a problem with it except the time I forgot to change the battery. i change the batteries the evening before daylight savings time changes occurs. that one time it stopped and i had to reset it when i put the new battery in.
I bought my second one because my first one is still working and all I do is set it and forget it and change batteries once a year.
Clock fits just right in the frame we had.

I bought this clock in 2010. About five years ago, it stopped automatically changing over to/from daylight saving time. Changing the battery (which I do annually does not correct the problem. When the changeover was working, it was rather curious (in the fall) to hear it advancing 11 hours rather than backing up one hour. In the spring, it advanced itself one hour.
I have now received my third clock from my vendor and it doesn't keep time. The first two had issues where the hands didn't point to the right place not keep time. So for 4:00 the minute hand would be on 12 and the hour hand would be halfway between 4 and 5. I opened it up and aligned the hands and it wouldn't keep time. I finally got one that the hands were properly aligned and it worked for about 3 months, now losing time again. Always used fresh batteries. Even checked batteries again and still good. Clock not.

This is my 2nd clock. My first one lasted for years before it died. It was great! This one is absolutely horrible. It loses time everyday, not just minutes, but hours overnight.
This is my third 14" set and forget analog wall clock. They last about one year then they start by losing about 10 minutes then they just get stuck and don't keep time. Yes, it has new batteries.
