AcuRite - Atlas Weather Station - White/Black

This is my second Atlas weather station I have bought, and my 3 rd weather station I have bought from them. First one destroyed by a hurricane , second one after about 4 years the wind quit recording. I received great support to try to get it working again, but is just would not record the wind, so I bought my 2nd Atlas and Like the new layout of the screen. FYI, I have 2 other weather stations, a "Tempest" and manual rain guage, and the Atlas is spot on with them so I know it is accurate!

Unit arrived and the Atlas' built-in rain sensor does not measure any rain. It's constantly Zero. AcuRite sent me a complete replacement at no charge that I will be testing and installing ASAP! AcuRite support has always been very good at responding to any issue I have and resolving it to my complete satisfaction.

Nice weather station. Everything seems to be working as it should. Haven't checked the accuracy yet, but it seems to be good. I wish the display were bigger and the numbers were larger. it's hard to read unless you're close. Otherwise, good product. Thanks.

The Sensor has a knob-based mounting that makes it really easy to install. The HD display has a lot of useful information that is easy to read. We had a strange "blinking" power interruption recently that froze the display but the online instructions made the reset straightforward.

I got this weather station for my husband, thinking that the lightning detector came with it. Had to order it separately, after the fact. This is a great weather station...

Since I'm a meteorologist, I use this to track local weather developments and aid in forecasts we issue. It helps a lot!

This my second Atlas. The display screen on the 2018 model was clearer and brighter, especially wind speed.

better then the less expensive ones you sell. very easy install and setup. wish it had "feels like" temp option.

Overall I'm very pleased with this weather station. The display is beautiful, and unit usually functions as advertised. About every 40 days, the outside temperature "sticks" and does not update. I've needed to take down the sender and bring it inside to pair with the display. Obviously this is not ideal. The array is about 25' from the display, nearly within line of sight. Please advise. Thank you, Brian Stevens

This weather station will suddenly drop signal from maximum bars to no connection after 9 or 10 days of use. It can only be reconnected by bringing sensor unit inside removing batteries and going through reset procedure. I have changed channels and still get same result of 10 days use then suddenly dropping signal. Wind chill and heat index do not work correctly. The heat index is showing at 31 degrees F. Your web site says the heat index should show above 80 degrees F and wind chill should show below 40 degrees F. I am very disappointed in this unit. This is my 3rd Acurite weather station over about 10 years. The first station lasted about 7 years. The second station lasted about 2 years. This unit hasn't worked correctly for the three weeks I've had it. Very Disappointing! It seems the quality of these units has Declined Substantially!
