It's simple, provides all the data I wanted from a weather station, and worked perfectly right out of the box. The accompanying manual is clear and straight-forward, and saved me from creating problems with the setup. I am already relying on the device for guidance on how to shelter (swelter) in place.

Acurite Weather Station is a Winner!
Very accurate temp readings in a compact size. Unit measures 5 1/2" x 5" Adjustable backlight brightness settings, including automatic dimming after dark, brightens again at morning. Am using basic alkaline batteries with low temps ranging in lower 20's. Acurite has proven to be dependable and long lasting, my previous weather station lasted 15 years.

Works good
It works well. It can work off batteries, but doesn't stay backlit if not plugged in. Which is my only complaint as it's in my camper.

Beware
Be advised that it isn't until you finally break into the crazy packaging and open up the battery compartment, that there is a notice that you need to use the ac adapter for the display station. I hang the station on my wall and would not have access to an outlet. All of my previous stations have been battery powered.
