the main thing I like is the ability to dim the light at night and make it brighter for the day. The size is perfect for my bedside stand. There are other features that nice like the room temperature , humidity, usb port and date. I would definitely would recommend.

Outstanding clock for my bedroom, had been seeing this device for years at my time share and when my clock radio died I knew exactly begat I wanted. The combination of alarm clock, temperature & humidity readings is great as is the automatic dimming feature. Good product

Duracell Copper Top batteries leaked in my 1st one. I now use Energizer Max. The Acurite 13040 is a great product. Never used the alarm, but appreciate all the other features.

I 1st used this product in my timeshare unit at Outer Banks Beach Club, Kill Devil Hills , NC. Liked it so much I wanted one 4 my bedroom.

The AcuRite clock I purchased works okay. The numbers are not consistently lit. The white clock numbers are white in one area and gray in another areas. This is not a deal breaker but it seems this is a quality control issue.
