AcuRite Iris HD Weather Station with Lightning Detection

This is my third Acurite system that I have had over the years. This was easy to set up but I would suggest the following changes. I would have liked to have added my old screen as well as a lightening detector, but the system is limited to two items. Additionally, the screen "font" size is smaller than my old system. I think that a "senior" version using a larger screen or larger font or adjustable font could be added. The smaller screen could still be used but with fewer items displayed. The print is small, so it is difficult to see across the room. Lots of historical information is still available which is a nice feature.

This was the perfect weather station for my son who is always curious to the outdoor conditions. It was easy to setup and provides more then enough information for those who always want to know everything that is going on.

great price and awesome AcuRite 5 in 1 station. it is accurate and tells you everything you need to know about the weather outside. I recommend buying it.

Great little weather station. Really like the display and all that's contained in it. Much easier to read than our old Accurite display that died after five years. We have found the lightening detector works well but may turn off the alarm after 128 strikes recorded around us yesterday.

Much better than the one had purchased from another company. I have several AcuRite thermometers and love them.

Display and weather good. Lightning sensor failed to work . It gives too many strikes . Hundreds an a clear day.

This was a bate and switch. (AcuRite Iris HD Weather Station with Lightning Detection) and it's not

It was an open box item. It was missing a mounting post and screws. Luckily, I had those from a unit I was replacing. It had been programmed, and I had to rest to factory settings. I thought i was getting unopened item.

Great station only ding wish display had battery backup

So far, we really like this weather station. Shipped quickly, easy to set up, and the display is easy to read and navigate. Have been surprised to see how many lightning strikes we actually get with storms.
