AcuRite Iris® (5-in-1) Wireless Weather Station with Wi-Fi Display, Indoor/Outdoor Temperature, Humidity, Wind, Rain (01527MCB)

This was the first time I purchased a PWS. Just FYI when setting up on the Myacurite app, you have to add the display and the PWS sensor separately to be able to use the app. Was not perfectly clear on that part, but setting up the Wi-Fi and sensor it connected immediately. It took me maybe 30 minutes to get it figured out. But do that on a laptop and log onto the MyacuRite website. It works smoothly and you can view the entire page. Overall, setting up sensor and display was a breeze! Receiving all the weather information right away. I had to setup my PWS sensor on a 10 foot piece of EMT conduit. It worked great! So far very impressed with the weather station and a great buy.

Very easy to setup and connect to WiFi. I chose this one because of the white inside unit and light colored display - it is exactly what I was hoping for. The unit has been very accurate and consistent with other more expensive weather stations in my neighborhood (which I can see on Weather Underground). Highly recommend.

Nice product, now see the real weather in my town.

I was given a 5-in-1 weather station as a gift many years ago and it has performed flawlessly. Last year I gave one to my son in Minnesota knowing it would perform in the severe winter weather. This Christmas I gave one to my daughter in Michigan. Knowing local weather conditions are important in her business and I know this unit will provide information she needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this set up within 20 minutes! Very easy to set up and easy to understand how it works. Reads the weather great. It's very durable I live in very cold weather and it works perfectly. I love how easy it is to check the weather now when I wake up and it has so many different things it reads about the weather inside and outside! Very neat gadget!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live an outdoorsy life, and I need to know what the weather is on any and all days. I garden a lot and like to keep an eye on the daily weather. I absolutely am in love with my new AcuRite Iris 5-in-1 weather station. It comes with everything you need to get started and instructions on how to install it and get it up and running. We picked the highest spot in our yard away from objects that could interfere with the outside unit. Using the screws provided, it was a snap to put up the bracket that holds it, and then the two little screws that keep it pointed South and stable. It has a level on the top so that you can get it right. Inside the house, we put up the display on the wall away from any electronics. Downloaded the app on my iPhone and followed the instructions on how to set up WiFi. once it connected, you could see all the info on the display and on my iPhone app. The inside display lights up and besides the temp, wind, and rain feature; it also shows the time, moon phase, and indoor comfort levels. With the app, you can check your house while away from home. The rain sensor resets itself every 24 hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thus far, I have not had luck connecting to my wifi. I have attempted on IMAC, IPAD, Chromebook laptop, and Samsung Android Mobile Phone. With that said, I am confident I will get connected using my wifi even if I need to try Microsoft. I really love the display because it is simplistic, easy to set, plugs in to any outlet, and I can move it from room to room if I wish. The display allows me to see the outdoor, forecast, and indoor weather/temps in addition to the time and date. I placed batteries in it for back up in case of an electrical outage. I am posting an image of the plug connection cord because it is located inside the battery compartment (that may have you guessing for a bit if you don't know it). I like that the outdoor weather station can be placed most any where I want it to go but it does relay within the instructions, best areas for placement. I also like that it comes with the screws and mollies and can be attached either flat or adjacent to a pole, etc. I believe this product is not only great for ones safety but especially smart for children. It allows children to learn more about weather and weather patterns and who knows, they may take enough interest to be a weather man/woman some day!

This product repeatedly fail to connect to Wi-Fi. The purpose of this purchase was to have Wi-Fi connectivity and view data from the app when I'm not home.

I have not even opened the box to put that out there right away. I was proud to buy this for my veteran father as I interpreted the product details incorrectly. States the company is based stateside in Wisconsin either misinterpreted that for their operations of manufacturing were stateside as well. They are not made in China.
