AcuRite Iris® Weather Station with Mini Wireless Display for Temperature, Humidity, Wind Speed/Direction, and Rainfall with Built-in Barometer (01122M)

Have had an AcuRite Iris Weather Station for quite a few years, with two of the color displays that require external power. I had been planning to replace the Outdoor Iris unit for a while, since the harsh outdoor environment had take its toll, but when I found this package on the AcuRite web site that had the exact Iris outdoor station with the totally battery powered display AND it was on sale for less than just replacing the outdoor Weather Station I could not resist to get this package since it includes the new Iris sensor AND a perfectly good battery powered display. Perfect tor when the power is out!

I love these weather stations. This is my 3rd station I've bought. I wish I had waited to get the color display that's on sale now for Father's Day. Had this type of station for at least 9 years now. I had to replace my last one due to wasps making a nest inside the unit making the rain gauge none working. I've given one to my son and he loves it as well. Very educational for his daughters learning about the weather. Maybe my next one will be the Atlas. Again, awesome weather gauge and display, even the monochrome display.

At this point I have absolutely no complaints, everything works as advertised. In fact this is the 4th or 5th one I have purchased over the years for myself or gifts, everyone seems well pleased. I particularly like having the ability to tap into the information when traveling so I may check the weather at home.

I was looking for a battery-powered weather station for my RV. This model was exactly what I was looking for at a great price. I have a home-based 5-in-one weather station that has been serving me continuously for almost 10 years. I expect the same performance from this unit.

This is our second Accu-Right weather station. We had the last one for about 20 years and got this new one with the rain gauge feature. Both have been very satisfactory and we recommend it to anyone looking for a weather station. Keep up the good work!

After a few years my weather station quit transmitting. Purchased a new weather station which included the mini monitor. Once installed, I noticed that my previous larger monitor was now functioning as well. Will continue to purchase this item so long as I am interested in the weather.

My third 5 in 1, they do have a limited life. Display is nice but a light would be great. I like it is portable.

Received for Christmas…. Very easy set up. Seems to have a glitch though. The temperature has been hovering in the 30's. Every few minutes the temperature has gone completely haywire.. Yesterday it read 138 degrees and than plunged to -18 degrees.. than normal. Uggh has happened several times. Tried a reset also removed batteries and it has not helped..

I've owned at least 10 of your weather stations. I obviously like them but the quality of the stations could stand improvement. I bought these with the cheap displays because I have multiple color displays that outlast the weather station. One (an Atlas) of the two stations that I replaced lasted 11.5 months but I failed to call service for a couple months. I had a screen shot showing the day it stopped working but you would not replace it under warranty. I'm a slow learner but if these two stations don't last a reasonable time I'll be buying the next ones from a different manufacturer.

After spending considerable time leveling and setting up the mount, I discovered that the wind gauge failed to note wind speed. Strong signal and all other functions worked fine. Wind speed was the main factor I was interested in knowing. All unit should be tested prior to leaving the factory. Returned product.
