AcuRite Iris Wireless Weather Station with HD WiFi Display, Lightning Sensor, Indoor/Outdoor Temperature & Humidity, Wind, and Rain Gauge (01532M)

Instalation of weather station was essay, connecting to WiFi with iPhone was impossible, not sure how many times I tried before using laptop, then it was a breeze. I already had a acurite account and didn't have any problems adding to app. We are now having problems connecting to internet but we will be moving modem in a few days hopefully this will take care of the problem. I've had a AcuRite weather station for 6 years.

I bought first AcuRite Iris 5-in-1 weather station over 10 years ago. I'm not sure what is the expected life of these stations but given the extreme weather here in Central Texas seems to have taken its toll. The rain gauge and anemometer both gave out this spring and since we like have the very local weather data available, we bought another. Bought an Iris2 with the second solar panel and the display which sends out the rather data via Wi-Fi to our iPhones and iPads. Another neat result was that the old display also worked with the Iris2 weather station - so we now have two displays, one downstairs and the other upstairs. Highly recommend if you want a very local weather data.

This is the second AcuRite Iris system I've purchased after a storm and electrical surge took out the display of my previous system. I believe this is the best system on the market especially for the price. Highly reliable and accurate. Install is fairly easy with the hardest part determining where to mount the weather station sending unit so it is in an unrestricted area. (we have multiple roof lines and pitches) Display is well organized and easy to read with a sleep mode at night. Haven't figured out the connection to my phone yet but it will be a nice feature when I do. Highly recommend this weather station!

Thank You. This is my second station. I purchased my first several years ago from a retail store. I was very happy with it, but the Iris went bad and could not be replaced. When I was ready to purchase a new unit, I explored your website. You have so much to offer so I contacted your support. Brett answered my questions. I followed his suggestions and am very happy with my unit. I did have some problems setting up the Wi-Fi. I found your instructions confusing and hard to follow. Brett sent me his condensed version and I now have my phone and tablet connected. Brett is a GREAT asset to your company. BHF

Things seem to be working well on my display it shows full charge.. so for me getting up on the roof is hard, and not having change batteries is a real plus..

I purchased this for my dad for Christmas. It was easy to set up. We struggled for a second setting up the wifi and weather underground because it went offline. But since has stayed online. Seems to be reporting accurately when compared to other weather stations in the area. I live out of state and I can see his weather station on the acurite app or weather underground. Very cool.

Our weather station was about 10-15 years old and survived 2 moves, one from NH to FL, then another within FL. However, the wind knocked it over a few times and broke the old friend. The weather station itself deserves 10 stars, but the website gets 4 because it wasn't easy to find the correct replacement. We ended up buying a whole new weather station and adding the old display to the new one; it works great! Wish you could now incorporate pool temps into it as an upgrade. :)

Wish there was a better wall mounting bracket. The display does not hang flush with the wall and tries to fall off when pressing the menu buttons.

The weather sensors and web access work great. The display stations are poor at best. I've owned three of these in the last month and every one the display contrast is so bad you cannot read it from 10' away. The image is so faint it is difficult to read even under ideal conditions. Definitely not the current state of display technology.
