AcuRite Notos (3-in-1) Weather Station with Wind, Temperature, and Humidity (00638A4)

Its a great unit, you get everything you want in a easy to install package. I like having the wind speed.. I also like tracking the Barometer. Great unit all around !! and a good price !! ( Mark )

I ordered off the internet for my parents. They had had one for 6 years and loved it. It quit working one day and they could not stand it. We looked locally and could not find anything that even halfway worked like it. It is one of the best. It shows temp, wind, humidity. All from the comfort of inside the hose. They are 92 and 87 years old. It is wonderful

This is the second one and I love it. It gives us all the weather information we need.

I wanted a wind gauge and display that were both battery operated so would work in a power outage. I also wanted a trend gauge. This does exactly what I want!

I like the weather station it has a long distance signal so I can put it the yard almost anywhere I like. The one thing I don't like it does store the history long enough you can only look back a few hours so you can't get a goog idea of the changing trends.

This particular Home Weather Station is easy to set up and done in 10 minutes including setting up the display. What is really nice about this weather station is how it is built much better then Taylor, Oregon Scientific because I have had both and were disappointing as the wind speed cups failed in 90 days of purchase. So Check This One Out-You Will Like It!

This is the third time we've ordered this item in the last 7 years. The outside unit of this product only lasts about two + years. You would think that would make us not recommend this product, but that isn't the case. We think the weather including heavy winds, reap havoc on the outside unit. When it's working it's a great product. And, honestly at approximately $50 it isn't overly expensive. Buy it, you'll like it. But understand it won't last forever.

We use the unit on a sailboat so wind speed and outside temp are important. Rainfall measurements are not only not needed but the unit would freeze here in Alaska so we buy the older units without a rainfall measurement cup (which is also a bulky wind teaser). On the new AcuRite, the inside display unit did not press hard enough for the screen to display correctly. We were replacing an older AcuRite unit and fortunately the old display worked with the new outside unit. We love having a history of barometric pressure to augment weather predictions.

Seems to get the temp, humidity and wind speed fine but the display is not working for me. I can't see the display except for when it is in the light and directly in front of the display. Planning to return this product since AcuRite said they will not replace the screen with a better one.
