Had a nice tripod but the piece holding my phone broke. Bought this hoping the screw would fit, and luckily it did. Well made mount. The best feature is that the phone is tightened by an adjustable screw (knob) rather than by spring tension. The original one was spring tension, and I could barely get it wide enough (iPhone 12). This one expanded nicely beyond the phone width, and then by tightening the know, I got it snug. Well pleased...
I'm 78 years old and like many other elderly people I suffer from trembling. It's difficult for me to hold my cell phone steady when taking pictures, and this cell phone holder with remote control helps me take some great pictures. At a great price with speedy delivery it is one of my best purchases.
Definitely a solid product! I love the durable tensioning mechanism, and a Bonus aspect of this item that I was unaware of: the base part can be removed, and there are still 2 tripod mount inlets (same size -so universal), making this mount double functional. Well worth the purchase!
I liked everything about the product; it holds my iPhone 15 Pro securely in either the landscape or portrait mode. It is lightweight and well-constructed. A bargain for the price.
The Acuvar Heavy Duty Rotating Smartphone Tripod Mount matches my expectations and needs. The rotating capabilities allows portrait or landscape shots. The mount's top and bottom threads look to be brass alloy and sturdy. The remote bluetooth shutter button paired up quickly and worked the first time. The remote's plastic construction reminded me of model kit plastic as compared to heavier car fob. Less weight to carry up the trail.
I was pleasantly surprised at how good the quality was.And that it actually fit my phone. I have a Samsung note 20 and it fit nicely

I ordered Acuvar HEAVY DUTY Rotating Smartphone Tripod Mount for $7.89 for one. It is stated 3 times in the listing that it is made of DURABLE ALUMINUM, that is why I chose this one. What I received is made of plastic! Acuvar also has a listing advertising their "2 Pack PREMIUM Smartphone Holder Tripod Mount made of STURDY PLASTIC" for $9.49 a 2pack. They all look very similar in the listing photos with only slight differences if you look very closely. I believe someone packaged and sent the plastic version by mistake. If you would kindly send me the correct model made of ALUMINUM that I ordered, I will gladly return the plastic version and update my review of the correct model. THANKS!!
