A great product. My wife and I love the show and now my kids fell in love with it. I had to wait for it to be back in stock but it was worth the wait. The price was about the same as other places but I like paying with a gift card for piece of mind. We cannot wait for more of the series to be put on dvd.

Baby Boomers! Look out!
Any of us who grew up watching this show knows that it rocked then, and it still rocks now even though it's dated...This series was made when the cops were the "good guys"--fighting evil...Anyone should be able to watch this given the issues it touches on and be able to see where creators of shows like The Closer, Law and Order SVU, NCIS, CSI, Cold Case and Criminal Minds got some of their inspiration from. The characters are markedly similar to some on the newer crime shows. Dragnet and Adam 12 are two shows that defined the crime drama genre. I can easily see traces of Jim Reed in Elliot Stabler and Olivia Bensen (Law and Order SVU). I can see traces of Pete Malloy in Jerry Orbach's character on the original Law and Order series...Now I'm waiting for Season 2!
