works really well....I have never had to deal with fleas before...I bought this and so far so good....it has a nice refreshing scent and the cat's fur seems more fluffy.....I'd buy it again if we get fleas again......
Love this shampoo for my cat. It is the only one Ibuy. It smells like Paris Hilton's Can Can perfume. And it keeps my cat from having fleas. Shhe doesn't scratch or anything, Shehops right in the tub when she wants to bath.She loves it too.
I ordered the wrong one I needed for dogs, so I returned it therefor idk than I purchased for dogs' version it does do as advertised for dogs ...
usually just get for my cat to give her a bath in general but I have used it before on cats that I have found and you can see the fleas dying on them
I've used this for years on my pets. Some had a lot of fleas and with this shampoo you could actually see them falling off. I've found that they are not all very fond of the ‘scent'.
Returned needed the dog not cat one
The Vet said this didn't work. She probably didn't read the instructions. "Knock-Down" of the fleas can take 24 to 48 hours. As long as you understand that, and know that the eggs may still hatch (may, not will), and use this as often as needed, the product does exactly as described. I put it in a spray bottle, half and half with water, and hit the carpet and cracks in the floor, every two weeks until they are totally gone.
If I could write the review with zero stars I would. I purchased this product last week to bathe our kitten. She met the guidelines on the packaging etc. we bathed her according to the instructions, rinsed her well and dried her; and within 24 hours she was twitching and having seizures, drooling. I ended up having to take her to emergency vet in the middle of the night as the seizures were getting closer together in time. The vet says she is experiencing poisoning from pyrethrins, one of the active ingredients in this product. We took the bottle to the vet and they confirmed this to be the source of her poisoning. She's now hospitalized and we are looking at $3k in vet bills. We searched online and found out how dangerous this product is. I can't believe it's even allowed to be sold and marketed as safe with NO WARNINGS on it about potential poisoning or its signs. Disgusting.
I didn't know this when I was getting this that the first ingredient is highly toxic. I am glad I double-checked all the ingredients before using it on my foster kittens. I will not be using Adams or Hertz in the future after doing father research and seeing a lot of people have lost their pets due to these products
bought the same item previously and it was pleasant to use, this formula doesn't lather so after you bath your pet it doesn't feel clean
