Shampoo is nice and thick %26 lathery. The scent is a bit strong but clean smelling. I love that it kill flees on contact %26 relieves my dogs itching. It seems to protect and work for about a week. I have bought this product at least 4 times. Its the best I have found for my Medium size doggy who has sensitive skin!

I own several fur babies , one day a relative bring her own babies to care ... but she never told me her fur babies were infested with fleas . within 2 day mine were infested too. I used a cheap and mild shampoo that was enough to maintain protected my babies that never got fleas before. i used the shampoo that always use but was not enough to eradicate the infestation, so I used this brand , Adams worked perfectly well, within one month and two use all the babies were clean and safe. The odor was strong for me and the babies because i used a mild formula with nice smell but for the purpose of eradicate the fleas the smell doesn't matter but how it works and Adams shampoo works very well.

So thankful for this product. I bathe monthly then have to wait 48 hours before applying Advantage 2 flea drops. During those 48 hours fleas would jump back on my dogs .. until now. This product cleans, conditions and kept my dogs absolutely flea free for the 48 hours I had to wait, and I think it would have worked even longer. Where I live Frontline stopped working because the fleas grew a resistance to it. It's way too humid for food grade diatomaceous earth to work so this is a great option here. I will keep it for monthly baths. Thank you Walmart for delivery to my door on bath day ❤️

I love the way this shampoo smells and the scent lingers long after I've bathed our girl. She is on flea and tick meds monthly so I don't need to use the flea and tick shampoo necessarily but I prefer Thai for the scent and added protection in the hot weather. It also lathers up so well so a bottle will last quite a while even at a weekly bathing schedule.

I originally gave 2 stars because I thought it kept the fleas off for a week because I was reading customer reviews but fleas were back on the next day, but if you read carefully it only prevents eggs for the time it states. So it kills every flea at time of bath, conditions and leaves dog fur soft and does what it says and does not say it will keep fleas off for a week.

I'm a groomer and I've used this a few times this week. I noticed fleas coming to the top of the hair dead our falling into the tub off the dog. Highly recommend as a start and then Frontline Plus to keep up until you can get the whole house cleaned and taken care of.

I love that this is safe for both cats and dogs. Having a cat I worry that other flea treatments on her housemates could make her sick. Good product, smells nice too.

it has a strong scent but not too bad once you get it lathering. I didn't even know it lathered the first time. I did a light rinse of my dog then put it on. put a small amount of water on the dog or in your hands and begin lathering. You need to put it everywhere even the legs and paws. This is a place they love to get into your dog. between the toes. I found a old tick on mine that looks like it had been there a while. I mixed a shampoo the vet gave me for her dry flaky skin with this product. Beware, don't do that. The dog and I could barely breath. I immediately got her shampoo off. I have to keep repeating every 5 days, which is hard on their skin, but the previous owners neglected her so bad her skin is really a mess. she has lice and for a very long time. it's taking a lot of patience.. poor doggy. it's worth it I love her! So far this time the vet said he saw nothing alive so now on to treat the skin.l with a vet prescription shampoo. Fingers crossed I can get this done.

For the first time ever, my dogs got ticks. This shampoo helps but it doesn't solve the problem. One of my dogs has very thick full ear hair (spaniel). I used this as instructed and removed all visible ticks. My dog started scratching constantly so I repeated the shampoo treatment. This time kept the one dog sitting in lather for nearly 30 minutes while I washed the other two. At that point I was able to remove about 15 ticks still alive and attached to his ears. Later that day, I found another tick, alive and attached. So, for a dig wth thick hair, it is marginally effective. It worked better on my two other dogs who have thinner, lighter hair.

I washed my kitten with this shampoo %26 put on the Adams Flea Collar as well, %26 hes still absolutely INFESTED with fleas! This product does not work at all!! $20 wasted!
