Purchased this product for travel to Italy. Mainly uses the product for battery chargers. May need support underneath the product to prevent it from falling out of the wall outlet due to the size. Works well overall and will use it again on the next trip.

I did have to return this item because it was Overkill for what my purpose was. I was looking for something for Italy only and this covered several different countries, otherwise I think it would be great.

i used it to power my i7 4core laptop and charge my smartphone. i either connect my smartphone directly to the adapter with my smartphone's own usb power adapter or to my laptop via usb port. in all cases it works great. nothing seemed to be too warm etc when ever i went to check the adapter and my devices. like the manufacturer suggests i unplug the adapter completely when not using. i wasn't to sure about it when i bought it at an actual Walmart but works great in Australia. All my devices use the US standard plugs. Happy with the purchase.

Went to Greece for two weeks (Athens & Santorini) and stayed in 3 different hotels. All were five-star hotels, so I was pretty confident electricity would not be a huge issue as it has been when I traveled in the past as a student in other countries. All of my appliances/devices charged and ran perfectly using this adapter. I will say it was hard to keep in the wall when using a curling iron; because of the movement of the iron's cord it would often come out of the socket. Otherwise, the adapter is lightweight but seemed very well-made. I purchased two, but left one in a hotel room...so the one I have left will certainly be coming with me on future trips. Enjoy!

I used this on 2 trips, one to Egypt and the second to Portugal. I had the switch set to converter mode from 230v to 120v on both trips and it caused my USB charger to melt. Very disappointing product.
