Adaptive Sound Technologies Sound + Sleep, White Noise Machine, Black

Out of the box this is very easy to set up and use. The sound quality is much better than any other sleep therapy machine I've ever had. I like the option for "richness" which allows you to select the detail in a particular sound, for instance take out the annoying bird noises in most Ocean sounds. I also like the fact that it has the option to stay on for the entire night; most others only give the option 30/60/90 minute intervals. Another interesting feature is that it is able to automatically increase or decrease the sound level to the background noise in your room as you sleep.

My hsuband and I are approaching "elderly" and need quality sleep to maintain health. We have three of the sleep therapy machines. I run them during the day; it gives a calmative background for work. We each run one at night. Love "summer nights". Puts me right to sleep.

This machine should be called Sweet Dreams....It has a sound for everyone. I love the ocean sound and I leave it on all night. For all the options the Sound Sleep Machine has, it is very easy to use. I love it! I was surprised and excited to find this on Walmart's Web Site, because I've looked many, many places.

This machine has a nice variety of background sounds and I am still trying them out to see which ones I like the best. I definitely get to sleep a lot quicker now than I used to and I leave it it on all night so it tends to mask any noises that may otherwise have started to wake me up so I am waking up feeling much more rested as well.

Happy with the sound machine..many sounds to choose from,sound is great, options for combining programs. I have tried cheaper ones with no satisfaction. Have a real problem with insomnia, this, combined with relaxation techniques, seems to be helping a bit. Not a magic cure ,tho..

I love all the options on this machine. 10 different sounds with 3 options for each sound. I really wanted something that would play sound all night long instead of being on a timer. This fit the bill with various times of play plus the all night option. I'm very satisified with this product and sleeping better and longer uninterrupted.

this sleep therapy machine for me is one of the best purchases ive made it helps me meditate and sleep i like the relaxing sounds i like the adaptive mode but do not use it for some reason i feel like it senses my heart rate so it sounds like a beating heart...overall great product!!!

This machine was a replacement for a less expensive machine with poor sound quality. Not only is the quality of the sound much better, it also has more features that help insure it accomplishes what I need it to do. The feature that is most worth the higher cost is the "richness" feature. It add "character to the soundstory" so that it is not a repetitive string of sounds which is something bothered me with the other machine. I noticed the repetition with the other machine and it kept me from relaxing. Counterproductive, wouldn't you say. While this sound machine is rather large on my nightstand, it is attractively designed.

it would be nice to have a remote control. Otherwise my wife and I are quite pleased with this device. Even though the neighbors have been quiter, we feel that our sleep has been more sound and with more depth. I have a tendency to have occasional insomnia, and I think the soothing sounds just help to me relax and cut off my head. We like it very much. Patt and Alondra, CA

I purchased one 3 years ago...it lasted 3 months. I sent it back and the company sent me a new one. That one lasted 1 year. At this price point this should last a lot longer. I took it apart ther is nothing that should break on this thing. It is a simple circuit board. Keep in mind it was never moved. It sat on a high shelf and only turned on and off.... One day I unplugged it to move it and it would not turn on again... Look online you will see many people with the same issue.
