This is Maria. The Addi Express is excellent. You can tie on different colors of yarn as well as textured yarn. I found it easy to pick-up dropped stitches due to not having the right tension. Once my rhythm kicked in I could crank out a box load of hats for charity.
This knitting machine my wife loves. This one is second machine. The first one became difficult to use. The new one arrived quickly. So far the first and third day 2 knitting needles turned out to be defective and plastic bent near the tip of needle. They give you extra needles. My wife can't remember needing to replace any needles in the years she used the first machine. She is back to making hats for charity and friends. To replace the needles takes a little dexterity.
Very happy with this purchase. It arrived safely. Used YouTube videos for instructions on how to make hats etc. I am learning the intricacies of tension , as you need to keep track of that at all times or your product will suffer. Great fun!!
Was fun to use but omg it dropped a lot of stitches WAY too much, too easily.
love my Addi machine. Price was great and shipping was quick.
I absolutely love my Addi. I have had a Sentro for a year now and really wanted the Addi. I see I difference in what I make between the two. Plus, walmart had a lot better deal which I loved.
As described. May have been refurbished. The yarn guid was cracked one day after receipt. But was the cheapest of you want a warranty. Shipped from turkey to Germany then to us by air. So may have been handled in shipping.
I already had a Sentro 48 but it wont do very heavy yarns. The Addi does do heavier yarns. It is very, very noisy though and much harder to crank than the Sentro. If you can just use lightweight yarns stick to the Sentro. Only but the Addi if you need to use heaver yarns 4 and above.
Kept grinding with every yarn I used. Don't understand why something that cost entirely too much is such junk!!!
It kept dropping stitches. It would hang up and wouldn't crank any farther. The counter kept messing up.
