Searched on line for new floor lamp with 3-way lighting, thinking torchiere style was best but didn't want fake resin shades; can't afford real Tiffany glass shade. So this style was a gamble but my decor is eclectic. Originally going to order on Amazon, but Walmart had the best price w/ free delivery. Lamp has Modern Style

This lamp is easy on the eyes but has some design defects that make it hard for me to recommend it— I bought two and the electrical connection between the bulb and light failed on both. They're also unbalanced, so I wouldn't recommend for families with young children or pets.

I was so excited to get this lamp. However when I attempted to put it together the instructions were terrible. I finally got the base figured out but it was not with the instructions provided. The biggest issue was trying to figure out how to put the shade together. Still haven't done it. It requires 2 people and I live alone. So I contacted Lamps Plus. That was also a disaster. Don't bother, no help there so basically SOL. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING THIS LAMP. VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER.
