Nice so cats nor kids would do it, they try it couple times it doesn't work you leave it for like a week or too, and than you can unlock it and they won't even try ;)

I received these products free of charge in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. At first, I was intimidated and thought I'd have to give up on this lock because the instructions didn't make sense. But if you follow the picture, you'll have an easier time. I didn't want a permanent mount so I first used the adhesive. I must have super strong grandbabies because they ripped it right off. So I had my husband install with the screws and I am super glad I didn't give up. This is so cool! I am horrified I am gonna lose the key. I wish there was a spare.

As grandparents, the two really nice things about these magnetic baby locks are that they are attached with adhesive (not requiring that you drill and screw into nice cabinetry) and they have a lock override so that when the grand children are away the locks can be disengaged.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a couple months ago and so far they've been effective. It's easy to engage and disengage the locks. If they remain locked its really easy to release the lock. It would also be easier if they had been off limits all along. Once they were installed she had a tantrum but now she's used to it.

Had trouble getting each part level with the other side but thats not a product problem. Love these locks. My 5 yr old can no longer get into the cupboards when everyone is asleep. Will recommend this to everyone with little exploring climbers.

The locks are great and easy to set up. You have the option to use the adhesive or to screw them into place.

This was cool until my kids figured out that any magnet will unlock them. Including scissors.

If you have a flat service on your cabinets it works great!! If you have thick hard wood then not so good.

I bought this a week ago & recently installed them in my kitchen. If I could return them, I would. The latch doesn't always pop back up, even when there's no magnet around so I'm constantly having to check that they actually lock. I would not recommend using on drawers — they're bulky, don't fit in the drawer properly & because of this have a tendency to pop off. I also would not recommend purchasing if you have a strong or determined baby. Some pop right open with little to no force.
