So far so good! We did a board on board gate and this feels so much stronger. Will buy these when I do my larger drive through gate too
Bought the gate up to 96 inches and needed almost all of it. The steel framing is solid and hopefully should hold up during the winter when we have 90+ mph winds.
Exactly what I was looking for, strong and easy to install. I got this because I wanted a low maintenance strong durable gate and this kit checked all the boxes.
I installed an Adjust a Gate about 3 years ago on our backyard fence and it has worked and held up so well I just bought another one and installed it on a new fence. The system is easy to put together and adjust.
I bought this kit to convert a standard fence panel into a 75" gate so my riding mower could access the backyard. Installation took about 3 hours from start to finish, and the process was straightforward — clear instructions and no surprises along the way. What I appreciate most is that it still looks like my original fence panel. There's no jarring transition where the gate is — it blends right in, which was important to me since I didn't want an obvious "add-on" look. It's held up well since installation, with no sagging or hardware issues. If you're looking to add mower or equipment access to an existing fence without replacing the whole section, this kit does the job cleanly.
Vast improvement over the DIY 2x4 gate frames. Nothing was missing and was packaged quite well. The best thing about it is the latch is several orders of magnitude quieter than my previous latch. I can now use it at all hours of the day and not risk disturbing any of my neighbors. It's not too difficult to install it by yourself, but I would suggest having someone help to reduce time spent in the heat of summer.
Easy to assemble. Much better way to make a gate door vs creating one from scratch.
Works great and looks great! Easy to assemble as well!
Gate is simple to install and use. The only issue I have is the plastic in the top is very thin. When you pull up to open the gate, you can feel that it will not hold up. I a plan to use some putty or the like to reinforce the structure. The design blends well with my stairs.
Gate frame and hardware all look nice, although I'm assembling 2 of them to make a double drive gate and assembling them at their max width was more difficult than I had imagined to make sure everything lined up straight. The reason for deducting a star is because on one of the two gates I ordered, one of the sections where it attaches to a 2x4 crossmember is not level with the other side (see photos), which makes it essentially unusable, so I am having to return one of the 2 gates I purchased. You would think that for the price they would have better quality control.
