Adjustable Height Offset Handle Cane with Gel Hand Grip, Green Leaves

Super sturdy, fashionable well worth the money

Since I started using a cane, I've been collecting canes. This is my first "DRIVE" brand cane. The Pros: It's lovely, which is very important to me. The leafy ferns and palm fronds of the pattern are much prettier in person than they presented in the photo. There's a 300-pound weight limit, so it's super sturdy and I feel confident leaning on it. I have zero fear that it will collapse under me. Shockingly, someone was able to make this cane without a huge label permanently adhered prominently to the throat. Hallelujah. The Cons: The tightening ring doesn't completely eliminate the rattle. Most of my other canes don't rattle at all. This one has a bit of a rattle; not too bad, but there nonetheless. Finally, and this is my fault for not noticing, the handle is made of a fairly hard rubber--which they call "gel". It broadens out toward the front and there's a nice little lip on the bottom of the outside edge. That's a nice shape for a handle, but I vastly prefer the spongey foam handle. This rubber grip looks fairly indestructible, but the foam handles are so much easier on your hand when you lean heavily on your cane. Foam handles don't last forever, but I've replaced both tips and foam handles with very reasonable replacements from Am****.
