Adjustable Watch Case Back Opener Wrench, Watch Back Remover Tool for Battery Change and Watch Repair, TIKA

This tool was bought so I could replace a watch battery. It worked very well for it's intended purpose. It is well made, and will be used again. Came in a timely manner and worked as advertised. Decent build quality, but it is not something that would be owned by a watchmaker.

I have a couple of watches that have the slots for a screw on back. I scratched up the back of a nice watch using a pair of needle nose pliars trying to get the back off. It was difficult at best and all I accomplished was to scratch the back of the watch. I saw a jeweler at a local store using a tool similar to this tool. I got this tool and it worked so much easier. I didn't mess up the watch back at all. It's easy to adjust the poles so that it will fit any of the watches I have needed to use it on including a small child's watch.

Nowhere local will replace watch batteries now. This device allowed me to change the batteries in my mom's watches. The watches do have to have the intentions on the back for the tool to grab hold of. I'm not sure how many uses this tool will last but good for the price.

I was not sure that the WLD case opener would work. Better yet, that I could use the tool without damaging my watch. The joke was on me. It took less than a minute to open the case. I will put the case opener with my special tools and try to remember its location.

Make sure that the watch grooves are deep enough to accept the pins

This requires you to spin the ring in the middle to adjust to watch size. I was barely able to open to watch backs. Then it broke!
