I buy these for my husband. He says they do work to stop the frequent night visits to the bathroom. I like them because they don't have any junky fillers in them compared to other brands. Seems like the dosage is lower compared to others for the same amount so he takes less pills. And they are a nice size capsule rather than a huge horse pill like some other brands.

This stuff is the best you can possibly take for the prostate. I am 70 yrs old and have been taking this for about 3 yrs. I can sleep 5 or 6 hours straight without getting up. 2 in the morning on empty stomach, thats it. Give it 3 or 4 weeks to work, i think you will be a happy camper.

I bought this for my husband's BPH after reading reviews saying this supplement works better than saw palmetto in controlling urine flow and frequency. He tried 2 capsules in an empty stomach in the morning and 1 before bedtime and his urine flow is good and urgency and frequency have lessened. He told me this definitly works better than saw palmetto. Highly recommend to men with BPH to try this out. It is not expensive at all compared with a good quality saw palmetto that he used to take. It takes one to two weeks to see the results since it works on the hormones.

I got this thinking it was a good deal for 400 mg of beta-sitosterol as shown on the front of the product bottle, only to realize after reading the back label that it is actually only 216 mg of beta-sitosterol per capsule. It's actually 400 mg of phytosterol complex of which only one part breaks down as beta-sitosterol. This despite the product name being Beta-sitosterol on the front of the bottle. There are other beta-sitosterol brands on this website that actually contain the full listed mg in beta-sitosterol per capsule, such as the Source Naturals Mega one, which I will be switching to.
