Advanced Orthomolecular Research AOR Strontium Support II, 341 mg, 120 Capsules

Recommended by my naturopathic doctor for good bone building. I take 2 before bed on an empty stomach. I also take muliti minerals, boron & collagen (all in the morning). In about a year's time I'll get another bone scan to find out how well it works.

I buy this product as it has no additives, I have been on strontium for 3 years but not retested for osteopenia to date, I did initially introduce calcium as my levels sits a touch low but being high in 'lead' could give a false picture as lead mimics calcium in the body so not sure if I should take calcium with this product? any thoughts on this welcome

I was diagnosed with osteoporosis 3 months ago. I had been suffering pain in my left upper thigh when walking. I commenced on one capsule a night 2 hours before & after food. Still experiencing pain after one month until I increased the dose to 2 capsules a night on a empty stomach. The pain has ceased. I am so delighted with this supplement.

I'm very glad that iherb carries this product. I've been taking it for six months and haven't had any problem with two capsules per day. I like that there aren't any additives in it. I also like that the company that makes it is in Canada where there's more oversight on supplements. I trust the quality of the product.

I have been taking Strontium Support II by Advanced Orthomolecular Research for about 3 years after a breast cancer diagnosis. I am on a hormone inhibitor and there is concern for my bone density. My most recent Dexa Scan showed no progression, in fact, bone health slightly improved.

I'm 73 and have been taking this for a few years. My bone density test came back quite good. Strontium has been shown to build bones far more effectively than calcium. You do have to be careful to take it long before or long after taking calcium or eating a food high in calcium. The two "fight" with each other to be absorbed.

I have used AOR strontium since I found out 8 years ago I had osteoporosis. My bone density tests have continually improved. Dr's. have told me to continue with what I have been using. I take a good calcium but always at a different time. I will continue to use this strontium.

My favorite strontium citrate. Use to help strength my bones, though I also take calcium during the day, try to get enough protein in my diet, and exercise. I take the strontium as directed "on an empty stomach or at least 2 hours before or after consuming food or supplements". One or two capsules can be taken per day depending on one's bone health. This is a very pure product with only strontium citrate in the capsule which is composed of hypromellose and purified water. Have seen my DEXA scan improve. I feel safer using strontium versus the conventional medications that are prescribed.

I take this with The Collagen Type 1&3. Together thy are making my nails much stronger and my hair thicker and I'm hoping it's helping with my bones for recovery from Cancer and the chemo. I intend to take these products for my bones ongoing. I trust this product.

Very good quality product from a reputable company. Taking it as part of an osteoporosis program. I'm glad it is available on its own because I've learned that taking strontium at the same time as calcium cancels out the effect of the calcium. Didn't know that, and now, it isn't a problem. The capsules are a little large, but are not difficult to swallow.
