Advantage II Vet-Recommended Flea Prevention for Large Cats 9 lbs+, 4-Monthly Treatments

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No strong smell. My cat did not mind having this out on his coat. It was very easy to apply. Loved it and I will be buying more to apply on my cat. Super recommend.

I have used the other name brand for years. It is now starting to fail. It didn't even last for three weeks. So I decided to try Advantage II. I use this on all three of my cats as we recently somehow got a flea infestation. It worked wonderful. My cats have all stop scratching, and I can't find a single flea on them. I have found many dead fleas around their water dishes, but no life please. It works great and I definitely recommend this product.

my cat weigh 12.5 pounds and this worked way way waaay better than the pet armor plus . when you google it l, it claims they're the same and no. no they are definitely not the same. Smokey did feel or look a bit ill for a couple hours after the advantage treatment, sleepy, maybe he was nauseous not sure, but after 6 hours he was perfectly okay again. use with care, this stuff is potent. this would have really wrecked my 5 pound cats so be careful and read everything.

I highly recommend this brand of products. I live in a rather wooded apartment complex and rely on it to ensure my cat is protected from fleas. It is extremely easy to use and very effective. Reviewed by a very happy WM Associate, and my very happy cat, Boo.

I had used another brand and all it seemed to do was tick the fleas off! The vet said not to use anything else for 30 days because it might make my cats sick. They suffered for 30 days then I used the Advantage 11. It started acting within hours and the leaflet said it can be used again in 7 days if needed. It has not been but it's good to know. This will be my go to from now on.

I put this on my cats every month. It's super easy to open. Just twist the cap off and turn it upside down to poke a hole in the silver top. I usually just put it on their skin and rub it around. It's pretty simple to use and it helps with the fleas.

In the range of affordable it’s about the best without a prescription. It pretty much lasts most of the month. It’s doing a good job of keeping the fleas out of my home. As far as ease of use, I don’t know any cat that is easy to put flea medicine on.

Product works but not right away… they still were itchy up to the week after the 1st treatment. Also very very thin %26 oily, quickly gets all over their fur if you don't precisely %26 slowly squeeze onto a part you make in the fur on back of their head, NOT THEIR NECK! Shoot for the base of the skull above where the neck and skull meet. Otherwise it drips in all directions on their shoulder blades creating a reachable area for your cat to lick %26 groom which is what they will do almost immediately after they are desperately jumping away from you. Not only will the treated cat now get very sick from licking the medication off their shoulders but any other cat you have will groom the treated cat and also get very nauseous lasting for about 45 min. Drooling and hiding from consuming the flee medication. I felt awful for my baby. So live and learn %26 pass along so others don't make same mistake as I did and squeeze the tube in between their shoulder blades… On the back of skull still messy and could still be a problem if the other pets groom her!! So gotta be careful and watch them till it dries ( about 2-3hours) or separate the fur babies!!

This is the first time I have used Advantage. So far it's doing ok. I still see my cats itch a bit. I was using a different brand previously. It is a bit expensive being it runs about the same as the ones at your local vet. I will continue next month and update after.

I got this for my cat. when o used the first tube I couldn't tell if anything had come out. 2 weeks later i opened the second one but, I was going to put just a drop on my finger and it was bone dry. so, I spent so that for nothing. the tubes were empty.
