Advantus Index Card Holder, 5" x 8", Black

My mother in law uses this for her recipe cards and when I saw that hers was ripping at the bend, I bought her this. It's a great way to store recipe cards.

A box is a box

I had one of these and it was full of recipes from over a number of years. Some from my Mother, Grandmothers. Well when I moved to where I am now it got broken. I replaced it with this card Holder. I am pleased too

just what I expexted

Happy with the product.

Sturdy material, and a good latching grip for closing it. Can withstand heavy weight and being toppled off my bed by my cat. Arrived early.

Worked out well for holding a sizable collection of greeting cards. Not pretty but does the job I needed it for. Also write recipes on 5 x 8 index cards and holds several hundred. Most boxes are made for 3 x 5 or 4 x 6 cards. Again, not pretty but does the job. Decorate the lid and/or front with fancy lettering.

This is your average container, that is is average quality construction. As long as you don't need to open and close the box at a high frequency, it should be adequate. The box hinges do not look reinforced and that is concerning as it could split/break from normal wear-and-tear.

It will not stay closed

I do not like because when the box came in there was nothing in the box and I called and the guy said that happen sometimes and will let them know. will it is one mouth later and I still have not gotten them. called back they said we still looking in to it. will I have not gotten them or have not gotten my money back. so yes I am very upset.
