Directions were difficult for anyone not experienced in LEGO type building. Language barrier may have been part of the problem. Pictures without words were confusing. Definitely not for young children without an experienced person to help. Did not make sense for an Advent Calendar, because it took several days to complete one figure. Might be an excellent product for someone very experienced with this type of building. Good materials, bright colors, the pieces easily fit together, but I gave up before completing the first figure, or completing the pictured scene in the advertisement.
Instructions are a mess. You will not make a train by following instructions given.
