The Adventure Force Ford F-150 Raptor RC car is the PERFECT gift for any boy in your household! My 4 and 3 year old were having the best time of their life watching dad control the RC (its meant for ages 8+ but our 3 year old was able to figure it out pretty well at first). The truck's body is made out of a durable metal that withheld some pretty good crashes. The controller is pretty easy to figure out and both the controller and truck comes with batteries (the ones in truck are rechargeable). It has some speed to it and it's a pretty good size. Overall, it's an AWESOME toy for both the kids and dads in the family!
My 3 boys fought over who got to play with this first! My oldest loves the suspension and it was able to climb over their legs when the others were laying on the floor. It goes fast too! My husband loves playing with this too! He did say that the steering could use some work, it doesn't turn quick. It needs to variable speed, you barely squeeze the trigger and it zooms across the floor.
these things are pretty cool right out of the box if you can actually get one shipped without it being canceled for some reason Walmart will switch your order to a third party seller and then it just gets canceled I digress the actual vehicle itself is great after dealing with terrible logistics for a while we got one and it's a pretty good vehicle out of the box goes over gravel Sand Grass pretty powerful for what it is but eventually we're going to upgrade everything not that it needs it but it is a fun robotics project for the kiddos we're probably going to end up with this thing having a fly sky controller new internal brain and some robotics added like lemonade stand delivery vehicle or whatever LOL I love it lots of internal empty space to put in robotics you can make it whatever you wanted but even out of the box it's pretty dang nice the controller itself is simple micro switches you can hear them clicking pretty satisfying actually but nothing like oh what do they call it force or pressure sensitivity... it's just either on or off no range in between for left right/ forward back etc. I don't know the term here maybe budget premium LOL good enough for what it is but yeah we're going to upgrade it eventually even if it doesn't technically need it it's going to be a fun project and a decent base to start with.
Very fun, purchased so I can have my own when playing with my nephews and their remote control vehicles. Very good quality, fast, easy to navigate. I wouldn't recommend in door use at high speeds the body of this truck might take out your drywall lol
One of the best values in 21st century toyland. Walmart does list availability at several stores that do not have them. They kept cancelling my order untail I found one more than 20 miles away. Cannot be beat for the price. Attractive styling and metal cladding on a giant 1:10 scale. Don't expect brushless motors, fluid filled dampers or adjustable suspoension. Do expect huge reverse tip and flips, endless stunts and sand shooting out of all four wheels at the beach. It will make the local brick and mortar hobby shops selling the 600 to 3500 dollar units hate you. Just don't drive it into Lake Michigan and sink it in water up to the door handles and try to paddleboat out. It may not make it. Ask me how I know!
The Adventure Force 1:10 Ford F-150 Radio Control has become a new favorite at home. The assembly was super simple, so the kids jumped right into playtime. For a toy truck, the speed is surprisingly good, and both of my kids love racing it around—so much that their dad keeps joining in too. The sound adds just enough excitement without being loud, and the handling feels smooth whether it's on tile or carpet. Plus, the size is perfect: big enough to look cool but still easy for the kids to control. Overall, it's a fun, lively RC truck that has turned into a family toy instead of just a kids' toy!
It's a lot bigger than I anticipated since I purchased this online vs in store. I was unhappy with whomever delivered my package. I've order from Walmart delivery before but this was the first time they left my order on the front steps. I have a sign on my door that states leave packages inside porch, as well on the Walmart site. It came very obvious what it was so anyone could have taken it. I'm thankful someone was home at the time and seen them delivering it on our house camera. Otherwise product is great!
My son loves the truck. It's bigger than expected, but that was a bonus. The body seems strong, not pure plastic. Which was also a bonus. The battery life however seemed pretty short. My son played with it for about a half hour the first time use after charging before it went dead. After that it seems to only last about 20 minutes before going dead but takes hours to charge. That's a huge drawback.
Good truck for the price. Like the fact that it has a metal body and the chassis is one solid piece. It will climb over everything you put in front of it within reason. A lot of fun to play with and battery last for 30 min approx. I just wish the controller was built better and it had an extra battery. These are rugged trucks.
This item was clearly bought, returned poorly packaged, not inspected, put back on the shell, and resold at full price. No tools, no parts, completely useless. Absolutely nothing to make up for my trouble. I have no intentions of taking my time to box and tape it up the way it was to be sold to me… maybe you can be sure thst this doesn't happen to another person. If you're going to sell used items dont expect anymore than used item payments.
