I thought this would be something that he wouldn't like and never play with. I was wrong! He really likes this. I asked him what he thought about it. He liked that with normal size darts when he shot it and it wasn't dead on it would crumple the cans. So you have to be accurate to make it work the way it's supposed to. Which I didn't think would happen. He plays with it almost every day
My nephew loves this toy. He had a little trouble setting up the cans at first but quickly got the hang of it. He likes that the toy is in 3 sections so he can keep them together or put them in different places to see if he can hit them all. The toy easily keeps him entertained for a long time.
This is a surprisingly fun little setup! The cans collapse and pop back up easily so you don't have to keep walking over to reset them. It doesn't require batteries, which is a BIG PLUS+++ The cans separate so you can arrange them in different ways to make your own mini arcade, I see my kids and their cousins do it their own creative way. We paired this with a standard foam dart blaster, and it worked great. Definitely more engaging to shoot at these targets and without the mess. Works best on a flat surface. However, it can tip over if hit too hard but not a deal breaker.
Our 5 year old really enjoys playing this. He loves hitting the cans with his nerf gun. The only issue is the green can came defective. It's supposed to reset when you pull up but it just doesn't reset. Something is broken in it. Luckily he still really enjoys hitting the other two cans. It's relatively easy for my 5 year old to hit so it's perfect for you get and older and keeps them entertained for quite some time.
Adventure can crush is a great practice game for kids to practice their aim. The cans are collapsible to give that practice feel. Very safe to play with. Kids can practice their shots from a safe distance. Multiple kids can get competitive with this set practicing their aim. Easy to reset.
This target set is pretty fun. I haven't seen a toy like this anywhere else which makes it unique. The kids liked playing with it very much. The quality of this set is above average and feels nice and sturdy. If I could suggest one thing it would be to use a thicker or stronger spring inside the cans so that they collapse quicker after being hit. But other than that I think this target set is worth checking out.
This is a fun toy. My kids enjoy playing with it. It's a great game for kids to practice the aiming skills. Very easy to reset. No batteries required.
The Adventure Force Can Crush Target Set is a fun idea that resulted in a lot of play time but needs to be improved so it's easier for kids to use. My kids had a very hard time resetting the cans after they collapsed. Both kids are 8 years old and they each had to ask for help multiple times. I even thought it wasn't easy. For a kids game it should be a lot simpler to pull on them to reset. Other than that the kids loved to shoot them and try to knock them over. I probably wouldn't buy any more of them though until the functionality is improved.
As noted in other reviews, the ‘crush/collapse' action is difficult. In our case, they were hard to keep upright. MOST IMPORTANTLY, we set them up for some basic nerf actions and they TOTALLY failed the first volley. As you can see, there's holes in every can. From 1 volley. Of a basic child's foam darts.
Easy to use, BUT very poorly designed with too brittle a material. The vinyl surface was punctured after a few shots using Dart Zone's own branded guns! After breaking the first few cans, I thought maybe switching to the considerably weaker models (rated for age 8 %26 much lower fps) using standard elite darts might do better. To my surprise and disappointment, even the standard elite dart models (both Dart Zone and Adventure Force brands) managed to puncture holes into still more cans! Total waste of money for these targets.
