This Adventure Force Desperado Foam Dart Blaster is a good dart blaster. It is NOT "Slamfire" in any way shape or form. The trigger of this blaster runs almost the full length of the hand grip. The large full-length trigger both fires the blaster while advancing the revolving cylinder. This Dart blaster uses full size darts, and the included darts work great. The blaster seems to be a lot stronger than I thought it would be and it shoots fairly well.

We had a Nerf night at youth group and I bought six of these and they were perfect. You can load six darts at one time, pull trigger and it shoots and moves up next dart all in one movement. it helped having Nerf darts at the ready for the kids that didn't have the fancier guns to bring from home. definitely upper the fun level of the night. You do have to make sure you squeeze the handle all the way and it might be hard for a three or four year-old, but I'm only mentioning this because I read it in another review and to me it was definitely not anything to deter the purchase for what I needed it for totally would recommend.

Kids love these! They are made with the original dart backs so all the rest of our darts work with them. Make sure to check what kind of dart backs you have so they work for you, too. I don't like that Nerf as a company is diversifying and making it difficult to use darts interchangeably. That was the magic of this toy.

The Desperado is one of the best budget friendly pistol-style blasters on the market. They are a favorite to dual-wield during dart battles due to the maneuverability and ease of use.

Great single-action foam dart gun. I use it to play a math game with oatmeal cannister targets. The benefit of this blaster is that my son, age 6, can just pull the trigger rather than struggling to pull a spring mechanism bolt like most blasters.

100% LIKED! The toy made my 3 year old grandson SO HAPPY..i had bought him.3.gidts...they other 2 were were not cheap at all and he wanted nothing to do with them All he wanted and m playsnwith is this Nerf gun lol

All I can say is, “WOW”! My 9 year old son got it and began playing with it right away. It's super easy for him to load and he loves the size! It's easy for him use and shoots FAR. He literally reached me on the other side of our yard! I was shocked!! We will be buying more of these! He said he no longer a "nerf boy", he only wants this brand and has already asked for more for his birthday and christmas!

We've been through a lot of Dart Guns and so far this one has outlasted all of the others! Not to mention easy to use, simply load the gun and pull the trigger...! All of the other guns the cocking mechanism breaks or the youngest boy (6) can't operate and he gets upset that he can't play with his brothers.

We received 2 nerf guns, one bigger that held more darts and then a smaller one. They were a blast! Everyone in the family had fun running around shooting each other, they're more powerful than you'd think so they sting a little if you shoot someone pretty close. All in all they brought great joy for everyone on a boring week night. Only tiny issue, which would not make me not purchase it is the bigger gun tends to stick a little when trying to shoot. Not a deal breaker thought. Is definitely recommend to a friend!

The trigger is soft and squeezable, that's where the positives end. The dart go maybe ten feet, and that's a lofty moon shot tenner. Don't waste your money, get something better. But if you don't want distance or fun and you're looking for something the little one can squeeze off, the trigger is long, accessible and relatively easy to squeeze.
